Itinerary
- Day 1
Entebbe to Kibale Forest
You'll land at Entebbe International Airport where your driver-guide meets you. From there, it's a drive to Kibale Forest National Park, home to chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys. Check in to your accommodation in the late afternoon, then settle in for dinner and rest after your travel.

Kibale Forest Chimpanzee Trek to Queen Elizabeth
After breakfast, head to the rangers' post for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking guidelines. You'll trek into Kibale Forest with an experienced ranger and spend a full hour watching chimps in their natural habitat. Lunch back at the lodge follows, then you'll travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving as the sun sets.

Queen Elizabeth National Park Game Drive & Kazinga Channel
Start early with a morning game drive across Kasenyi Plains to look for Cape buffalos, elephants, lions, and leopards. Back at the lodge, you'll have time to rest and grab lunch. In the afternoon, take a 2-hour boat trip on Kazinga Channel between Lakes George and Edward, where hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and birds hang out along the water.

Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Travel through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you have roughly a 70% chance of seeing tree-climbing lions. Continue on to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which contains about half the world's mountain gorilla population. Check into your accommodation and spend the evening preparing for gorilla trekking tomorrow.

Bwindi Mountain Gorilla Trek to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast and ranger briefing, trek into the Bwindi rainforest to find mountain gorillas. You'll spend one hour observing them up close in their natural habitat. After returning for lunch, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, surrounded by green-terraced hills and 29 islands scattered across the water.

Have a relaxed breakfast overlooking Lake Bunyonyi's islands. Begin your journey back to Entebbe Airport with lunch en route. Stop at the Uganda Equator line in Kayabwe for photos and browsing local art pieces. You'll arrive at the airport late afternoon or early evening for your departing flight.
