Itinerary
- Day 1
Osaka
You'll arrive at Kansai International Airport and head to your hotel using the directions provided. The hotel is typically just one train station away, so getting there is straightforward. After checking in, you'll have the rest of the evening to settle in and rest up before your tour begins.
- Day 2
Nara - Osaka
You'll drive to Nara for a half-day of sightseeing. In Nara Park, you can walk around and see the free-roaming deer, and you'll have crackers to feed them. Then you'll visit Todaiji Temple to see one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. From there, you'll stop by Kasuga Taisha shrine before heading back to Osaka. After checking into your new hotel, the afternoon and evening are yours to explore at your own pace.

Osaka
You have the day to yourself in Osaka and can wander around however you'd like. If you prefer something more structured, there's an optional full-day trip to Hiroshima available. You'd take the famous Shinkansen bullet train and see Itsukushima Shrine and Miyajima Island, then visit the Atomic Dome and Peace Memorial Park before returning to Osaka.

Kyoto - Nagoya
You'll leave Osaka for Kyoto and start at Fushimi Inari Shrine, where thousands of vermilion torii gates create a striking pathway. After that, you'll spend a half-day exploring Kyoto's highlights: the Golden Pavilion, the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, and Togetsu Bashi Bridge. Later in the day, you'll travel to Nagoya and check into your hotel for the night.

Naraijuku - Yamanashi/Nagano
You'll start by visiting the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology to learn about how the Toyota family grew from a small village to build one of the world's largest companies. In the afternoon, you'll head to Naraijuku, an old town that feels like 17th century Japan, and check out Tsumagoi Village. After that, you'll continue to your hotel in the Nagano or Yamanashi area for the evening.

Lake Yamanaka - Mt. Fuji - Tokyo
You'll drive through countryside and mountains to reach Lake Yamanaka, the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes, with great views of Mt. Fuji if weather permits. The lake is surrounded by swans and has earned the nickname 'Swan Lake.' You'll take a scenic boat ride around the lake, and then head up to Mt. Fuji 5th Station at 2,300 meters for commanding views of the surrounding region. From there, you'll continue to Tokyo and check in at your hotel.

Tokyo
Your Tokyo One Day City Tour starts early at Meiji Shrine. From there, you'll walk through the fashionable Omotesando area and the busy Takeshita shopping street. You'll also get to see a secret Japanese traditional rock garden tucked away in the city. Later, you'll visit Tokyo Tower with your admission included, and by evening you'll explore the colorful nightlife and energy of Shinjuku's Kabukicho area.

Departure
After breakfast, your tour guide will give you information on how to get to either Haneda or Narita Airport, whichever is your departure point. You'll head out in time for your flight home and conclude your Japan tour.
