Kigali
Your driver and guide will be waiting at Kigali International Airport to pick you up. From there, you'll head to your hotel where you can settle in and take time to rest after traveling.

Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you'll spend the morning exploring Kigali with a city tour that includes the Genocide Memorial and Museum, the Nyamirambo Women's Center, and Kimironko Market. You'll have lunch in the city, then drive approximately 5 hours (the route includes a border crossing) to reach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. Once you arrive at your lodge, check in and take the rest of the day to settle.

- Day 3
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This is the day you'll trek for mountain gorillas. You'll head out in a group of no more than 8 people and walk through forested slopes while your guide looks for signs of gorilla activity. When you locate the gorillas, you'll have up to an hour to watch and observe them in their natural habitat before heading back to the lodge.

Bwindi to Kigali
After breakfast, you'll check out and drive back toward Kigali, stopping for lunch along the way. From there, head to the airport for your flight home.
