Itinerary
- Day 1
Zanzibar/Dar es Salaam to Ruaha
You'll fly out from Zanzibar at 8:00 AM or from Dar es Salaam at 11:00 AM, heading to Ruaha where your driver picks you up for the drive to Mdonya Old River Camp. After grabbing lunch, you'll head out on an afternoon game drive to look for wildlife and watch the sunset from the savanna before heading back to settle in for the night.

Ruaha
Following breakfast, you'll spend the full day driving through Ruaha National Park on a game drive, searching for animals along the Great Ruaha River and across the park's landscape. A bush lunch happens during the drive, then you'll return to Mdonya Old River Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Ruaha to Zanzibar/Dar es Salaam
You'll start with a short morning game drive inside the park to catch early wildlife activity. From there, you'll head to the airstrip and board your 11:45 AM flight back to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar, with arrival in Zanzibar expected around 2:20 PM.
