Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Amman
You'll touch down at Amman Airport where a representative meets you and takes care of your luggage. From there, your private English-speaking chauffeur-guide handles your transfer to the hotel. Once you check in, the afternoon and evening are open for you to rest up after your flight or take a walk through the Citadel and Roman Theater if you're feeling up for it.

Amman to Petra via Kings' Highway
This morning you'll head south on the historic Kings' Highway. You'll stop at Mt. Nebo for views overlooking the Dead Sea, then continue to Madaba where you can see the famous Madaba Map mosaic inside St. George Church showing terrain from hills and valleys all the way to the Nile Delta. After that, it's roughly a 3.5-hour drive to Petra, arriving in time to settle in for the night.

Petra Exploration and Return to Amman
An expert English-speaking guide leads you through a 2-hour tour highlighting Petra's main sights. You'll walk the Siq, that narrow passage that opens up to Al Khazneh (The Treasury), a carved Nabataean mausoleum that's hard to forget. From there, you explore on your own pace, checking out the Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street, and the Monastery (Al-Deir). By afternoon you'll drive back to Amman and stay overnight.
