Itinerary
- Day 1
Amman to Dead Sea to Petra
Your driver will pick you up from your Amman hotel or meet you at Queen Alia Airport for a 60-minute transfer to the Dead Sea. You'll spend time floating in the water at the lowest point on earth, then have lunch there before heading out. The drive to Petra takes about 3 hours, and you'll settle in for the night once you arrive.

Petra
After breakfast, your private guide meets you at the Petra Visitor Centre to start exploring. You can walk or ride horseback through the Siq canyon to reach the Treasury, and from there you'll pass by the Street of Facades, Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh's Castle. Some free time lets you wander around on your own before you drive 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum. There's a BBQ dinner waiting, and you'll stay the night in the desert.

Wadi Rum to Amman
You'll start with breakfast and catch the sunrise, then hop into a 4x4 jeep for a 4-5 hour tour through Wadi Rum with an English-speaking Bedouin guide. Along the way you'll check out the Nabatean Temple, Lawrence Spring, sand dunes, Khazali Canyon, Little Bridge, Um Frouth Rock Bridge, Lawrence House, and Burdah Rock Bridge. An optional camel ride for about an hour is available on the return journey. After that, the drive back to Amman takes 3.5-4 hours, timing things so you can make your flight departure.
