I had a lovely few days exploring Turkmenistan with Manijik. The tour was very well organised, the hotels and restaurants were all excellent. Manijik is very knowledgeable and passion about his country and was happy to share his passion with us. Overall a good time was had.

I had the absolute pleasure of touring Turkmenistan with Baky, and he exceeded all expectations. From the very first moment, he was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. His passion for the country’s history, culture, and people shone through in every story he told, bringing each location to life in a way that was both fascinating and engaging. He took care of every detail – from seamless logistics to thoughtful recommendations – making the entire experience effortless and enjoyable. His ability to adapt the tour to my interests, answer every question in depth, and add personal touches along the way made it truly special. Not only did I leave with a deeper understanding of Turkmenistan, but I also felt like I had spent the week with a friend who genuinely loves sharing his country. If you’re visiting Turkmenistan, do yourself a favour and book a tour with Baky – you won’t regret it.

The tour was very well organized. The guide was very nice and had good knowledge. The stops were well chosen and spontaneous requests from us were taken into account, so we were able to see points that were not planned. If you like less traveled countries you should book this tour.

    • StantripsOperatorWritten July 2025

The number of participants in these group tours is usually between 2 and 15 people. There is a limit to the number of participants, and we will split the group if it exceeds 24 people.

    • StantripsOperatorWritten July 2025

We provide the Letter of Invitation approved by the State Migration Services for the tourist visa. Once you have the copy of your LOI from our side, you do not need to go to the embassy. You can collect your visa at the border or airport upon arrival.

How much? And is it possible to start in Uzbek/Turk border but comes back to exit at the border?

    • StantripsOperatorWritten May 2025

Arriving at the Shavat Border (near Khiva) is a great way to participate in this tour. However, if you plan to exit through a different border or the same border, it will incur additional costs. This is because you will need to take a flight from Ashgabat to a nearby city to cross into Uzbekistan.

It looks like the message came from TourRadar and not from Stantrips, the travel company in Turkmenistan. Have they ceased trading? I don't want to book with a company that will take my money but not provide the tour.

    • StantripsOperatorWritten February 2025

We provide the Letter of Invitation for your tourist visa and your visa can be collected upon arrival using the LOI.
