- NANawal· February 6th, 2024Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishThe following is a very detailed summary of my experience with kwesa tours - After I booked the tour, I was immediately contacted by Edward asking whether I would also like to book a safari or Sanzibar. When I declined with thanks, I proactively heard nothing more from Edward. he gave me NO information at all. he only replied to my questions, which i asked him via whatsapp. i expect an agency to proactively give me information about the equipment or help me choose a flight etc.. I did not receive any informationShow moreKilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Safari commented on this reviewHi Nawal Akoucham thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your concerns and take them seriously. Please email us at kwesa.bookings@gmail.com so we can address this further.Trip date: January 2024
- KKai· September 2nd, 2023My partner and I did a 7 day trek to the Kilimanjaro via the Machame route at the beginning of August and it was truly an unforgettable experience thanks to the KWESA TOURS crew. Our guides, Chris, Nick and Zach were incredible human beings, always available to answer our questions and to help us through our climb. They helped my partner suffering from altitude sickness with advice and medicine and escorted him down the mountain as he was feeling very sick. We were very grateful for their knowledge and their experience on the mountain. This experience would not have been possible without the whole team of porters and cook. A special thanks to Jackson, who was working extra hard to make sure we were all eating enough. I miss the early wake up with my coffee in the tent! We will miss you!Show moreTrip date: August 2023
- PPulqueria· January 2nd, 2023Magnificent Kilimanjaro experience with KWESA TOURS africa We had the most magnificent experience with KWESA tours enhanced by our superb friendly guide Edward with his brilliant team, very knowledgeable on all aspects of our experience in our time at the Kilimanjaro ecosystem. Our tent crew was always ahead of us to make sure they set up the tents for us. Absolutely perfect team for our Kili adventure.Show moreTrip date: December 2022
- SSSophie· January 9th, 2020Had the best trip with Kwesa tours. The team were amazing and we wouldn't have made it up the summit without the porters, cook and Alberto and Rama. Highly reccomend.Show moreTrip date: December 2019
- Martin· January 1st, 2019(Version in German go to the end.) Overall rating: Top team & safety & quality and at the same time 20% of the booking price supports the educational opportunities for children in the region. Activity: - Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route 7 Days (single person) Rating "Kilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Safari" / "Kwesa Tours" - Extremely fast response times after a request from Switzerland - Top support before and during the activity - Local guide, in my case Tom with 23 years of experience - Tom measured the oxygen level in my blood every day to get a feeling of how well I was doing at altitude. - A very well functioning team consisting of 1 guide, 1 cook and 3 porters. - One gets the feeling that they want to afford more of themselves in order to provide the customer with a perfect stay. - 20% of the turnover goes to a charity to promote the education of children !!! One experiences the beauty of the country and at the same time supports the development of the local population. !!! Tips Customers - Tip 1: Drink as much as you can, this is the best protection against altitude sickness. - Tip 2: Even if all other tourists run up the mountain. In terms of energy, the best option is to climb up very slowly from the first stage onwards: (A) You save energy for the summit stage (B) You sweat less and have to use less energy to dry yourself again (C) The body has more time to adapt to the altitude and you drink more during the ascent. - Tip 3: Book your accommodation through the agency. So you can leave your luggage that does not have to go up the mountain at the agency and after returning from the mountain you have the possibility to spend a beer in the hotel of the agency for your guide, cook and porters. Show moreKilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Safari commented on this reviewDear Martin, On behalf of KWESA Tours and the team, we are all very grateful for the choice you made of exploring Tanzania with us. - Bernardo· October 16th, 2018Lifetime Experience made even more amazing with KWESA TOURS. I spent ages looking for the perfect company, and I'm confident we picked the best. Lazaro edward, who run kwesa tours will give you a lot of individual attention, they were patient with our many questions, and responsive to our unique needs. I felt safe from the moment their driver met us at Kilimanjaro airport until he dropped us off. The before and after stay at African Tulip was lovely. We took the Machame 7 days route, which descends via Mweka, so you can see two completely different terrains and views each way. My daughter, who is very fit, summitted easily, and I reached Gilman's which was very satisfying considering my fitness level, The guides did everything possible to let us reach in good health and good spirits. Shout out to Innocent and Justice for that ! I'd been apprehensive about the rugged camping conditions, (because I am a soft office worker) but the tents, mattresses, pillows, and mess tent made it remarkably comfortable. The food offered was tasty, with wide variety, and, again the cook tailored it to our preferences as we went along. Finally I would recommend KWESA TOURS because all your money will stay in Tanzania, and help further KILIMANJARO ORPHANAGE CENTRE charitable causes. He gives opportunity for orphanage children in Kilimanjaro region and nearby societiesShow moreKilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Safari commented on this reviewDear Guest, On behalf of KWESA Tours and the team, we are all very grateful for the choice you made of exploring Tanzania with us.
