Overall well organized and smoothly executed tour. The tour guide (referred to as tour director) provided lots of information not only in regards to the destinations but also about life in Portugal in general. Couple of not so great items: 1) Dedicating less than half a day to sightseeing Lisbon is a misunderstanding. Filling the rest of that day with optional, overpriced activities felt like a cash grab. 2) Hotels were very good with one exception - the Double Tree by Hilton hotel in Lisbon was designed for looks but at a great expense of the functionality. The depressing, overwhelming black color made the hallway look like some dystopian futuristic jail. Many tour participants expressed the same/similar opinion. This hotel should be changes for future tours. 3) Calculating and expecting exorbitant (especially for Portugal) tips for the tour guide and the driver left some bad aftertaste.....

Our driver and tour director Henry were amazing! It’s fast paced tour with a lot of travel but Henry is so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING. I learned so much just even on our way to the next spot. I wish we spent more time in Galway and Glasgow. We ended up getting there late so it was dark and we had to leave next day. I personally could have did without the farm piece but my husband and I were one of the 5 younger people there. Otherwise, hotels were great, driving accommodations were perfect. I would highly recommend the company.

    Asked on July 16th, 2024

We are considering this tour in 2025, but have some questions. Day 5 how long is the tour in Lisbon? Will there be free time to explore on our own? Days 8 & 9 we are not interested in pineapple plantation or tea plantation tours. Is it possible to skip these? If so, are there other things to do in the area on our own. Day 10 How much time would we have in Lisbon. If we choose to dine on our own, are the hotels in locations convenient to local restaurants?

On Day 5, you will spend the majority of the day in Lisbon. You will have the opportunity to purchase an optional excursion for the afternoon/evening. During that time, you can either purchase the excursion or do some independent exploring. On Days 8 & 9, you can speak with the Tour Director about options for doing independent touring during that time. On Day 10, you will Fly to Lisbon, after breakfast and have the remainder of the day to explore on your own.

Interested in this tour in Portugal, from Porto to Porto Delgado and Lisbon. This is exactly what we are looking for. Four of us are traveling. Do you assist with flight bookings? Also, If we arrive in Porto a day before the group, can we get reservations at the same hotel we'll be in and can you make the arrangements?
