We were so fortunate to have great weather and enjoyed walking tours of some of the cities. The bus trips with guides were informative and the boat and ferry transportation was very practical. - Carrie· July 15th, 2024Overall, I was very pleased with the tour arrangement regarding the places visited, the hotels, and the means of transport (train, bus, boat). I was especially pleased with the Havila Cruise, as it exceeded my expectations. I was not happy with how the tour was led by the "guide." He was more of a facilitator, making sure that we made it to the bus or hotels on the tour, but he did not communicate well and did not provide the information or help that I wanted or expected. For example, we were on the bus or train several times during the tour, and he never explained where we were, sights that we should expect to see, etc. I completely missed a show at a stop because he did not tell us about it, and we had to rely on another tour guest to check their Google Maps to tell us where we were throughout the tour. Also, there was no assistance from him with our luggage, and he did not communicate meeting times and places well, which led to confusion and mismatched meetups. I would also have liked to have had a transfer to and from the airport included in the tour because as a solo traveler, I was unsure of where or how to find transportation. I would have given the tour an "excellent" review if we had had an involved and enthusiatic guide, and hope that this will be resolved in the future as I would like to bring my family next time!Show moreTrip date: July 2024

There will be a long distance coach with the group that will driver between hotels and cities from day 2 until day 7. During this time and for activities, trains etc. the luggage will stay on the bus. Travelers will be required to take their own luggage between the bus and their hotel room and vice versa. There is no optional portage service available for this tour.

The total price for a solo traveller will be 2995 EUR. You can double check the prices when you are selecting a date. We do not having sharing options for our tours.

Asked on December 26th, 2024Is this trip suitable for an 80-year-old who walks okay but slow? Is all transportation taken care of once we arrive to the hotel? I'm looking for less pressure on myself to figure out how to get from place to place. I am vegan and can not eat gluten. Cross contamination isn't a problem for me. But if gluten is in the food, I am sick. I see many meals provided and didn't know if the menu could be provided or if you could reassure me that I won't starve on the trip?

All transportation is included besides the airport transfers. This package includes some city sightseeing which require walking between bus stops and a small hike on day 6 (approx 45 minutes). All tours include sightseeing which require walking and transferring your own luggage in and out of hotels. All meals included can be vegan and gluten free, however we cannot provide the menu yet as it is too early for our suppliers. We will need to contact you in the new year with this information. Possible only a month before your trip we will know the full menu.
