You'll arrive in Dubrovnik and meet your Travel Director along with the rest of the group. After checking into your accommodation, dinner is included this evening so you can settle in and get to know everyone.

- Day 2
Dubrovnik
A Local Guide takes you through Dubrovnik's highlights, walking you past the Rector's Palace, Onofrio's Fountain, and around the city walls. You'll wander through elegant courtyards and limestone streets at a relaxed pace. If you're interested, there's an optional sunset dinner cruise available later in the evening.

Dubrovnik to Kotor
The journey south heads through dramatic Montenegro scenery before reaching Kotor's Old Town, which sits beside a bay backed by limestone cliffs. Your Travel Director gives you an orientation to this UNESCO World Heritage site, then you have time to walk around and explore on your own.

- Day 4
Kotor to Sarajevo
You'll travel south through small villages and across open plains into Bosnia-Herzegovina, arriving in Sarajevo. The city is known as the 'Jerusalem of Europe' because of its varied religious and multi-cultural history. Dinner happens at your hotel this evening.

- Day 5
Sarajevo
A Local Guide leads a walking tour of Sarajevo's religious sites, including synagogues, mosques, and Orthodox and Catholic churches. You'll visit the Old Town and the largest mosque in the Balkans, plus see the Eternal Flame and Sarajevo Roses, which mark the city's recent history. Dinner is either with a local family or at a restaurant with live entertainment.

Sarajevo to Mostar
You head to Mostar with a Local Guide to see how this historic multicultural city has recovered since the war. The iconic Stari Most Ottoman-style bridge is a main highlight, and you'll walk through colorful cobbled streets. There's an optional trip to Blagaj if you want to see its natural spring and historical sites.

Mostar to Split
Split is your next stop, where ancient Roman history appears throughout the modern city. A Local Specialist takes you behind the city walls to Diocletian's Palace, which lies at the center of this harbor town. Later you'll walk through the Old Town, seeing Gothic, Roman and Renaissance architecture including Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral of Saint Domnius. An optional traditional konoba dinner with live music is available in the evening.
