Both our tour guides, namely, Turka (Azerbaijan) and Ilonah (Georgia/Armenia) are very knowledgeable and always attentive to our needs. They deserve a 10 Star each for excellent job! They are very professional & punctual. They not only shared the history of each country but also the lifestyle, traditions, and customs of their country. I've learned so much and another thing that I LOVE is we were given enough free time to explore the city by ourselves. We are not tired and restless. Every itinerary is very well planned. - GNGlen· October 28th, 2024Enjoyed the 11 night , 12 day tour of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia thoroughly. Sakura is a a Georgian company so we found the days better planned, the accomodation better,and the transport better in Georgia than the other countries. Ilona, the guide in Georgia, was also by far the best guide of the three we had. The programs are set by Sakura for Armenia and Azerbaijan but they just don't seem to come together as well as in Georgia. Also the planning is a bit off in Armenia and Azerbaijan -- for example in Yerevan Armenia, they didn't even originally include the holocaust memorial at all which would be like arranging a tour in Israel and leaving out Yad Vashem. The group was able to get the guide to at least let us see the eternal flame at the holocaust memorial but it was on a day when the museum itself was closed. At the same time in both Armenia and Azerbaijan they throw in some stops to break up the long trips between cities but they are often not worth the stop so that it just lengthens an already long day. I would have enjoyed hearing more from the guides as we drove along on our sometimes long trips. I would have preferred staying an extra night in Yerevan rather than travelling all the way back to Tbilisi for the last night. It was a long drive and another border to cross. Hotels were very good and well located. The day often started so late that we returned back or arrived into our next location quite late. Earlier start, please, even if it means a breakfast box instead of a sit down breakfast. Overall, a good trip to see fascinating of-the-beaten-track countries.Show moreTrip date: October 2024

Our guide in Azerbaijan Arif was excellent and very patiently took us through the journey. He was very hospitable. Our guide Ilona in Georgia was enthusiastic and proudly took us through all the beautiful places and excellent choice of restaurants with Georgian cuisine. Our guide Areva in Armenia was excellent. Tour price (per person) 2290 euro + 440 euro (single supplement) in total -2730 euros per person for solo occupancy rooms. Regarding the flight, we suggest to book the flight from your country (with local agency due to it will be les expensive). Pre or post accommodation is priced at 70 euro per night.

Asked on May 21st, 2025I am interested in this tour and would be coming with my parents, who are 87 and 80. Your tour says it's up to age 75. They are both active and we just came back from South America where they went to Machu Picchu without assistance. Would it be OK for them to join this trip? What is the maximum number of people for the group size? Are people already signed up for the September and October tours?

There is not age restriction in our tours because it is cultural and easy and we are always happy to see senior guets in our tours. Therefore we will accapt the booking when you book the tour. Regarding dates, October dates are not open yet, but since you are 3 people it will be already guaranteed to depart, even if no other participants books (Tour is guaranteed to depart in case of minimum 3 participants)

I am solo male traveler I do not want to pay single supplement, I can be matched to another male solo travel. Start of tour Aug 23, 2025, last day of group tour is Sept 3 2025, then we will go to airport Sept 4 correct? What is the usual cost of regular meal that is not included in the itinerary? Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia Tour (12 days) group tour which starts on Saturday 23 August, 2025 is already guaranteed to depart and the tour will run on that date. If you are not going to book single supplement, you will be accomodated in twin shared room with your gender another solo traveler, who as well will be happy to share a room. Yes the tour starts on 23rd of August and ends on 3rd of September, It means on 3rd of September you will have a breakfast and should check out from the hotel till noon. Transfers are not included in the program price and costs 35 euros per way. Mostly dinners are not included in the program and the price ranges from 10 to 20 dollars. All other expenses are included except personal.

Single supplement is 40 euro per night, totally 440 euro for this tour. Regarding the meal, there are not special restaurant who officially provides gluten free meals in these three countries. We can organize meat, fish, vegetable meals for you but if there is something risk, and since this is our first time, we cannot take responsibility.
