Itinerary
- Day 1
Kos
You'll arrive in Kos and get settled into your hotel. Once you've dropped your bags, head down to the lobby where your Trekking Hellas trip leader will be waiting for a briefing about what's ahead. After that, you'll walk with your leader through the medieval castle of Kos and wander the streets of the new town before heading to dinner together.

Nisyros
After breakfast, you'll board the sailing boat that becomes your base for the next few days and meet the crew. You'll get a rundown of sailing information, then sail toward Gyali island for swimming and snorkeling. Lunch happens on board, and later you'll dock at Nisyros to hike through the volcanic crater of Stefanos (about an hour). The evening is yours to arrange dinner or relax on deck watching the stars.

Tilos
The boat heads to Tilos, an island powered by solar and wind energy. You'll have swimming stops and lunch on board before pulling into Livadia port. From there, you'll hike the coastline and check out several beaches including one with distinctive red sand. Later, you'll climb up to the abandoned village of Mikro Chorio with its narrow passages and green courtyards, then make your way back down to Livadia. Spend the evening however you like, whether that's finding dinner or taking a walk along the bay.

Halki
You'll sail to the deserted island of Alimia, which has been an uninhabited protected site since World War II. The hike takes you through untouched trails where you'll find a Hellenistic tower and ruins of a Medieval Castle built by the Knights of Saint John in 1475. After exploring, you'll swim in the clear water and then head back to the boat for lunch. Later you'll sail to Halki and have the evening free to explore the port with its colorful buildings or grab dinner at one of the seaside restaurants.

Symi
An early sail gets you headed to Symi, known as both the most cosmopolitan and remote island in the Dodecanese. You'll stop at several bays including Seskli for swimming in green waters, and lunch happens on board. By early afternoon you'll arrive at Symi port and walk over to Pedi bay. At St Nicolas taverna, you'll learn how to prepare famous Greek dishes. As the sun sets, you'll walk back to port taking in the views of Symi along the way.

Rhodes
The boat heads to Rhodes, the largest island in the Dodecanese with the most history. You'll stop for swimming at bays like St George Disalonas, and lunch comes on board. Entering Mandraki harbour gives you views of the medieval walls surrounding the Old Town. You'll then walk through the UNESCO World Heritage Medieval Old Town, check out the castle, and wander the narrow alleys. The day ends with a farewell dinner and checking into your hotel.

Departure
It's time to head out. You'll get a transfer to the airport unless you've already arranged to stay longer and extend your trip.
