The incredible team, and it was truly a team effort as I am a bit of an over planner and travel worrier, answered all of my questions, offered suggestions without being pushy and really knew what was important to my wife and I. Convenience and proximity was evident by day 2 and I became very comfortable taking public transportation and saving a LOT of money on ride shares. The complimentary breakfast at each hotel was even better than the one before which was key because you will need to get your calories early for all the walking you will do. I give this 9 out of 10 only because the beds in the first 2 hotels were VERY firm. I probably could have requested a mattress topper or something but I was too exhausted from all the walking and fun we were having!! Small price to pay.Show moreTrip date: November 2024
- LJLeif· August 15th, 2024All of our transfers went smoothly except for the one where they didn't show up. The driver who met us in Santorini was very friendly and helpful. All of our tour guides were very good, especially the one in Venice. I liked the itinerary in Venice the best because we got our last day as a free day to do what we want. We learned our way around on the tours and then hit the town as we wished on that last day. We were kept busy in Rome and Santorini so we had less flexibility for our own outings. As for locations, I would have preferred staying in Fira on Santorini rather than Kamari. Trip date: June 2024 - MCMegan· June 21st, 2024Our family of 7 took an Italy and Greece tour in June. Wanderful holidays allowed us to make small customized changes to add an extra day stop on a travel day and add an extra day at the end. Any issues that popped up, were immediately handled with grace (which inevitably happen when traveling). The hotels we stayed at were perfect for our family, airport transfers made pickups and drop offs on travel days much less stressful. Preemptively, the team asked questions about luggage etc that helped inform us on packing. Traveling with a large group is no small feat, but the team made our experience much less stressful than had we planned all of the tours/transfers on our own and we had the quick back up needed when we had questions or concerns immediately. - J.L· June 6th, 2024I must admit the tour was great. I took the Italy, and Greece Tour with a stopover in Santorini/ with the Catamaran. There were a lot of moving parts as I swapped out 1 component for another, the Tourradar team never flinched. They were always positive that things could and would be done. Wanderful Holiday's the actual tour operator for my particular tour went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to, what I would call "On the field play" or coordinating the stuff on the ground on game day. Wanderful Holiday's acted and responded in appropriate fashion when it mattered. In short Tourradar and Wanderful Holiday's for my trip did a masterful job. A couple of thinnngs I would like to mention (not negative things) At the meet up location for tours the tour guide need to make their presence more obvious. My tour guide in Venice was great, but it took a moment to find her, I think better sinage (a bright colored flag hoisted in the air) could solve the issue. Another part that may take a little getting use too are the private transfer drivers/connections. While the drivers did show up to the designated locations and most did this on time, I was never quite sure who they were or what type of vehicle they were driving. Some drivers did send a text with their picture, but that does not help when they are sitting in a dark colored vehicle with tinted windows :-). On a couple on a few occasions my wife and I were waiting for the driver and the driver was already there waiting for us. These items were minor in the grand scheme of a trip that had 11 days of a loaded itinerary. The hotels were nice but we didn't expect we would have to navigate this trip all on our own. Transportation was only provided at times, other times we were left alone to figure out how to get from point A to point B. We had no tour guide or bus. It was just us. For 7/5 tour, you need to arrive Venice on 7/5. On the first day, we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure. Sightseeing starts from the next day, 7/6. And yes, the internal flight to Santorini is included.

Yes, you can have your own accommodation and we can offer you a transfer from that hotel to the 4 star with the tour. Another alternative is that you book that extra night with us for $124.20. This will include a private transfer from the airport to the hotel too. Yes, you can finish a day early, but we do not get any reduction for that as it's a pack that we get as it is, but the advantage we get is moving you flight to a day before without additional charges along with the Santorini to airport transfers.
