Itinerary
- Day 1Milan to Lake Orta to Stresa to ComoYou'll leave Milan early and head toward Lake Orta to explore the village of Orta San Giulio. From there, you'll take a private boat out to San Giulio island to see the Monastery and basilica. Later in the afternoon, you'll move to Stresa on Lake Maggiore and take a boat tour around Isola del Pescatori and Isola Bella. By evening you'll reach Como for the night. - Day 2Como to Bellagio to BergamoAfter breakfast at your hotel, you'll walk around Como for a bit before boarding a boat heading to Bellagio. This village sits where the lake branches meet, with views toward the Alps. You'll spend time there exploring, then drive via a scenic route to Bergamo. The town splits into two parts: the modern lower section and the historic upper area with its churches, monuments, shops and museums. - Meals

- Day 3Bergamo to Lake Garda to Sirmione to Lazise to VeronaYou're heading to Lake Garda, Italy's largest lake, surrounded by the Dolomites and Mediterranean vegetation. When you arrive at Sirmione, you'll take a boat tour to see the cape, castle, and the ruins of Catullo's Grotto. Then you'll head to Lazise to walk through the medieval castle and old town walls. From there it's on to Verona for an overnight stay. - Meals

- Day 4Verona to Lake Iseo to GenoaThis morning starts with breakfast followed by a walking tour through Verona's main squares: Piazza Bra with its Roman Arena, Via Mazzini, Piazza delle Erbe, the monument to Dante, and the famous Juliet's Balcony. Later you'll drive to Lake Iseo to see the main city there. The day ends with a drive through Milan and on to Genoa, a major seaport with historic medieval streets. - Meals

- Day 5Genoa to Rapallo to Santa Margherita to PortofinoYou'll have a city tour of Genoa in the morning after breakfast. Then it's off to Rapallo to check out the old town and Dragut's castle. You'll continue to Santa Margherita on the Eastern Riviera, and in the afternoon visit Portofino with its colorful houses and small harbor. You return to Genoa for the night. - Meals

- Day 6Genoa to Portovenere to Cinque TerreAfter breakfast, you're heading to Portovenere, a fishing village at the end of La Spezia Gulf. From there you'll take a ferry to Cinque Terre, a UNESCO site with five medieval fishing villages. You'll visit Vernazzo and Monterosso, the largest of the five with its beaches and shops. Later you'll ferry back and return to Genoa for overnight. - Meals

- Day 7Genoa to Varazze to Finalborgo to MilanAfter breakfast, you'll travel west along Liguria's coast to Varazze, a fishing village with small beaches and quiet corners. From there you'll continue to Finalborgo, a medieval village at the foot of the mountains where the Alps meet the Apennines. You'll return to Milan, wrapping up your tour. - Meals
