Itinerary
- Day 1
Vancouver to Jasper
You'll make your way to Vancouver Pacific Center Train Station and board the VIA Rail train at 3:00 PM for an overnight journey to Jasper. Economy Class seats are available, though you can upgrade to Sleeper or Cabin accommodations if you'd like. Meals can be purchased on board, so you'll have options for dinner and breakfast during the trip.

Jasper
After the overnight train journey, you'll arrive in Jasper with some great views of Mt. Robson as you approach the national park. The train stops for 30 minutes in Kamloops, BC. Once you get to your hotel and check in, the rest of the day is yours to do as you please. You could relax at the heated outdoor pool, catch a show at the planetarium, grab dinner at a fine dining spot, or head to a pub happy hour if you're in the mood.

- Day 3
Jasper
You've got a full day in Jasper with tons of options depending on what sounds good. Winter sports enthusiasts can try fat biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, or toboggan runs. If you're feeling more adventurous, an ice walk through a frozen canyon with ice sculptures is incredible. Otherwise, wander through Jasper town, try local restaurants and breweries, or spend the evening at a nice restaurant or pub.

Jasper to Banff
The bus transfer from Jasper to Banff is included, so you'll head there during the morning or early afternoon. Once you arrive, you have the day free to check out this alpine town. The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel is worth seeing with its Scottish Baronial architecture from the 1800s. You can browse shops and restaurants, soak in the outdoor hot springs if weather permits, or book an optional dinner featuring fresh local ingredients.

- Day 5
Lake Louise and Yoho National Park
You'll head to Lake Louise, which is famous for its turquoise water and incredible photo opportunities. After getting some shots, you'll try snowshoeing with rentals included (takes about 20 minutes, depending on weather). Then you'll explore Yoho National Park, passing through the Spiral Tunnel and stopping at Emerald Lake with its distinctive milky limestone-colored water. You'll also see the Natural Bridge, which water erosion has sculpted over time.

Lake Louise and Abraham Lake
For January through early March trips, you can hit Lake Louise Ski Resort with over 100 runs at different difficulty levels, plus optional tubing and sightseeing gondola rides. You might also visit Abraham Lake to see the frozen methane bubbles beneath the ice, or take a scenic helicopter flight lasting about 20 minutes. If you're traveling in November, December, or after early March, options include soaking at Banff Upper Hot Springs followed by the ski resort, with tubing, gondola rides, or ski lessons available.

- Day 7
Calgary to Banff National Park
Starting from Calgary, you'll spend the day exploring Banff National Park, Canada's first national park. At Marble Canyon, you'll see striking marble formations and turquoise water (free crampons provided if conditions allow). The gondola takes you up Sulphur Mountain for 360-degree views, and you'll spot Bow Falls, which was a filming location in the 1960s. From Surprise Corner, you'll photograph the iconic Fairmont hotel, check out the Hoodoos rock formations, and browse shops in Banff town before heading back to Calgary Airport for your departure.
