Itinerary
- Day 1
Alice Springs to Uluru
Meet your guide in Alice Springs this morning and head out to the Red Centre. You'll walk through Kata Tjuta's 36 domes, with a proper trek between them at Walpa Gorge. As the day winds down, you'll head to a sunset viewing area where you can grab a light snack while watching the sun sink over Uluru, then head back to camp for dinner under the stars.

Uluru to Watarrka National Park
Start early to catch the sunrise at Uluru. Your guide shows you significant cultural sites and Anangu rock art, sharing creation stories from the area. You'll do a full base walk around Uluru at your own pace, then check out the Cultural Centre to see hand-crafted art by local First Nations Peoples. Later, drive to your camp near Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park and have dinner there.

Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon)
Trek through Kings Canyon, a massive gorge with sheer rock walls rising around you. Your guide points out over 600 native plant and animal species along the route. You'll visit the canyon's notable locations including the Lost City, Garden of Eden, Amphitheatre, and the North and South Walls. After lunch, drive to your overnight camp in the East MacDonnell Ranges.

East MacDonnell Ranges to West MacDonnell Ranges
Explore the Eastern MacDonnell Ranges, home of the Arrernte people. A short walk takes you to Emily Gap where your guide shares the caterpillar dreamtime story and you see ancient rock paintings at this important spiritual site. From there, you'll visit Jesse Gap, then head to Trephina Gorge for a guided walk to see quartzite cliffs and birdlife. End the day at your bush camp in the West MacDonnell Ranges.

West MacDonnell Ranges to Alice Springs
Spend the afternoon exploring the Western MacDonnell Ranges. You'll visit Ormiston Gorge, one of the most photographed spots in the Red Centre, and keep an eye out for wallabies. Continue on to Redbank Gorge and Ellery Creek Big Hole for a refreshing swim. Head back to Alice Springs where your five-day adventure wraps up.
