Our tour to Uluru was an unforgettable experience, and the highlight was definitely our guide, Sophie. She shared so many fascinating details that helped us truly understand the life and culture of the Aboriginal people. Her knowledge and passion brought so much meaning to the visit. On top of that, she made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout the entire journey. Thank you, Sophie, for making this trip so special!

Good choice of activities at times when it was not very busy. Up early though and back in camp by 6am. Accommodation simple. We liked the fact that you prepare and clean up the meals together. And very nice that there was always room to walk a trail. Not suitable when you walk a little harder. It was a lot of scrambling and swimming around rocks.

    Asked on May 12th, 2025

I have 2 questions about this tour. 1. I see there is no schedule for April 2026. Is this because the tour finishes in March 2026 or the schedule after March hasn't been announced yet. 2. Are tours guaranteed departure? If I decided to do the tour, my dates would not be flexible so would need to be sure the tour on the date I choose would run

    Tour Details
    • Adventure Tours AustraliaOperatorWritten May 2025

We are operating in April 2026, the rates are just not loaded in our system however I can confirm we will be operating this tour every day in April. We require a minimum of 8 people to operate the tour, however, it is in incredibly rare that we do not get fully booked in April time, so it is very likely the tour would go ahead.

    • Adventure Tours AustraliaOperatorWritten March 2024

Yes the age is not a problem at all. Just keep in mind that when doing Kings Canyon, the Rim walk is around 4 hours (with several stops).

      Adriana

      TravelerWritten March 2024

Am I able to wait if I'm not able to make the walk to the rim, dodgy knee. Also what time can I be dropped at the airport on departure day?

    • Adventure Tours AustraliaOperatorWritten March 2024

For the hike in Kings Canyon it has a lot of very steep inclines and it can be quite intense especially in the heat. I would say it would be best for you to stay behind or just do a little stroll around the lower part. There are a lot of areas you can sit in the shade and relax - bring your book! On the last morning we can drop everyone off starting at roughly 9 am to all the spots.
