New Delhi
You'll arrive in New Delhi across the day and head straight from the airport to your hotel in the city center. There you'll meet up with your group leader, then everyone heads out for a welcome dinner where you can try authentic Indian food and get to know the people you'll be traveling with.

New Delhi
Starting early, you'll take the metro with your guide to Jama Masjid in Old Delhi and work your way through the narrow lanes tasting legendary street food. From there, the group walks through Chandni Chowk market before hopping in rickshaws to hit the Khari Baoli spice market. Lunch is vegetarian at a Sikh temple where you'll eat in their huge community kitchen, then dinner wraps up with Mughlai food at a local spot.

New Delhi to Agra
After breakfast you'll hop on a local air-conditioned train heading to Agra. Once there, you're seeing the Taj Mahal and then checking out Agra Fort with its red sandstone walls, throne rooms, intricate mosques, and views across the city. The day finishes with dinner at Sheroes Hangout, a cafe run by acid attack survivors who own and operate the business.

Agra to Jaipur
An air-conditioned public bus takes you to Jaipur, known for grand forts, fancy palaces, and busy bazaars with those iconic pink-washed buildings. In the evening you'll catch a Bollywood blockbuster at the Raj Mandir Cinema, one of India's most opulent theatres. Your leader can point you toward good dinner spots to finish the night.

Jaipur
Breakfast happens at a local place like Samrat Restaurant, then your guide takes you on an orientation walk through the walled old city. You'll browse markets, learn why it's called the 'Pink City,' chat with traders, and see the Palace of the Winds. Next is a tuk tuk ride up to Galta-Ji (Monkey Temple) carved into the hills where natural springs and hundreds of playful monkeys hang out. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to explore Jaipur however you like.

Jaipur to Pushkar
A private transfer takes you to Pushkar, one of India's holiest towns with good food, nice markets, rolling landscapes, and sunsets that draw people back repeatedly. In the afternoon a local Brahmin offers you a blessing at the holy lake, and then you relax at a lakeside cafe before heading back to settle in for the night.

Pushkar to Udaipur
You'll return to Ajmer then catch a train to Udaipur, the 'White City' and city of lakes that showed up in the James Bond film Octopussy. Walking through markets and the old town comes first, then you're on a private sunset cruise across Lake Pichola. Dinner and views happen at a rooftop restaurant to wrap things up.

Your leader takes you on a walking tour through Udaipur's winding streets where you can browse shops selling colorful Rajasthani crafts and textiles. You'll check out the magnificent Jagdish Temple with its detailed stone carvings. The afternoon is free to either explore the opulent City Palace or chill by the lake with chai. Later, you'll step into a local home for a hands-on cooking class learning to make a traditional vegetarian north Indian thali, then eat what you've made with your hosts.

Udaipur to Jodhpur
A bus takes you to Jodhpur and you'll check into a traditional Haveli place tucked inside the labyrinth of blue-painted buildings below Mehrangarh Fort. Late afternoon brings a stroll through the blue city where you can stop at the impressive stepwell, try the famous Saffron Lassi and samosas at the clock tower market, then head back to your Haveli.

Jodhpur
The morning is yours to relax or wander the blue city on foot, with optional activities like a rooftop yoga class or ziplining over the fort ramparts. Early afternoon your group meets for a guided walk to Mehrangarh Fort with a local guide. Using an audio guide, you'll learn about Indian royal life while going through the well-kept fort.

Jodhpur to Bikaner
An early train takes you to Bikaner, a 15th century city founded in the middle of the Thar Desert that became crucial for camel caravans on the Silk Road. Camels are still important to Bikaner today. After arriving and checking in, you'll visit the Camel Research Centre with some of the world's best riding camels and one of the largest camel research and breeding farms. Later, you'll eat with a local family to learn about their culture and the region's unique food.

After a free morning, you'll head into Bikaner's center for an old city walking tour through narrow winding alleyways with centuries-old architecture, bustling markets, and hidden spots. You'll also see artisan workshops where craftsmen do age-old work like pottery, carpet weaving, and jewelry making. After dinner, you'll catch an overnight train back to Delhi.

Delhi to Kathmandu
Heading to Delhi Airport for your included flight to Kathmandu marks the start of the Nepal portion. You'll arrive and get picked up at the airport, then begin exploring Kathmandu, the vibrant and colorful capital. After your travel day, there's a warm welcome dinner at an authentic Nepali restaurant in Thamel Bazaar where you can sample local flavors surrounded by cultural energy.

You'll settle into comfortable accommodation surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature all around.

Chitwan National Park
You'll dive into Chitwan's jungle with several activities starting after breakfast. A one-hour jungle walk lets you observe the rich plant and animal life up close. Next comes a 45-minute canoe ride along the river for a different view of the park's ecosystem. In the afternoon, a 4-hour jeep safari gives plenty of chances to spot rhinos, tigers, and native birds. Chitwan is one of the few places where rhinos roam town streets, showing how humans and wildlife coexist.

Mountain reflections on the lake's surface create nice photo moments.
