- MSMalgorzata· November 25th, 2024Organization- (2) stars. I bought a trip with max 18 people and max age 59. I was added to a group of 32 people in majority over 70 years old who had already traveled together for 2 weeks. Those people priority was different than mine. I had Only 8 days (6 with a guide) to see and experience as much as I can in that short time, but with that big group of people who had been already tired it was impossible. We did the bare minimum what was in itinerary with not enough time to explore.Show moreTrip date: November 2024

- DDDerek· March 3rd, 2024While this tour covers a lot of the main things to see you will spend a lot of time travelling too each destination. I did enjoy the tour overall but there was a few things that could have been different. One is the hotels as much as I like good accommodation if we are arriving at 6pm and leaving at 7am the next morning I'd rather just stay at a cheaper option because you ain't going to get to experience everything the hotel has to offer. Two is there is a heap of activities that ain't included in the tour price and you will need to pay extra for some this is OK but when it's almost every activity I feel you should just included that in the initial price and only have a few optional activities. I was a little shocked that I would need an additional 4000baht just to cover this. Overall it was good but could be betterShow moreTravel Talk commented on this reviewHi Derek, thank you for your review! - JHJOSE ALVARO· February 25th, 2024Very good in general. As a reccomendation, there were too many temples. - Jose· February 23rd, 2024There were far too many temples. You could use that time to chill and rest for a bit. Maybe making activities or tastings with your fellow tourists. Apart from that it was a great tour, with an interesting portafolio of activities, well organized, nice prices, comfortable hotels and buses.Show moreTrip date: February 2024
- Brooke· January 4th, 2024This tour covers a little of everything, which I really enjoyed! By the end, I was a little templed out and the last one in Chiang Mai didn't add much to the itinerary. I'm not sure that I would skip any of the others, although some folks on the tour said that the ruins weren't that impressive compared to Angkor Wat; however, having never been there, I enjoyed the ruins. The itinerary is a little misleading as you do have evenings free, but with a 7 am start every day, mostly eat dinner and go to bed if you want enough sleep. I didn't mind that so much, but it did mean limited time to explore the various cities, with the exception of Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Food: only breakfast is included, which I prefer as you get to eat a lot of local foods of your choice instead of (generally) underwhelming hotel buffet food. Hotels: all had comfortable beds and were spacious. The hotel in Chiang Mai was the only one where the A/C seemed inadequate to keep the room cool. Good water temp and pressure in all. Bus: comfortable, clean, with WiFi. Safe, friendly driversShow moreTrip date: December 2023
- RRandyReid· November 13th, 2023We were disappointed that my husband and I were the only ones on the tour. Part of the fun of a tour is meeting new people. Our tour guide Tao told us he had 11 people on the previous tour. We could have changed our plans to join that one had we been notified. Also there was some problem at the Grand Mercure Atrium Hotel in Bangkok. We checked in a day early and told them we were joining a tour group the next evening and staying the night in the same hotel and asked if we could stay in the same room. They knew nothing about Tour Radar or Travel Talk. We had to check out the next day and wait until our guide arrived at 17:15 before we could check back in. The room assigned to us was 2 doors down from the one we had on the same floor. That said the rest of our tour was excellent . Tao and his driver Ges were the best. We were given the VIP treatment all the way. Tao was very knowledgeable about the history and background of everything we saw or did. He was personable, friendly, kind, thoughtful and has a good sense of humor. Ges is an excellent driver. We felt very safe with him. He added to the tour by suggesting some different spots to eat. We really enjoyed a lunch with a beautiful view in the mountains. The itinerary was perfect. We enjoyed the boat rides on the river in Bangkok and the River Kwai. The Wats were all amazing getting more impressive as the tour progressed. The heritage sites, the mountain people, the Bridge over the River Kwai and the museum, the Garden of Hell by the Big Buddha, all amazing. The highlight was the morning spent with the elephants. A great experience for sure. The driving alone was so interesting as there was so much to see. Our accommodations were all very comfortable and clean. We truly enjoyed this once in a lifetime adventure. Would we recommend this tour? Indeed we will. Thank you!Show moreTrip date: November 2023

Asked on October 22nd, 2024Would like to know if it's possible to skip some activity since my fiance won't come to visit every single temple preferring relaxing at the hotel while I wanna do every activity
- Travel TalkOperator•Written October 2024
If your fiancee do not prefer to join on the group, she can skip the activities, yet it may not be possible always to wait at the hotel as you change the destination during the trip and before check in these hotels, you may have some activities. However you can talk to your guide and point out a place to wait for the group if you decide not to attend.
