Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Catania
You'll arrive at your hotel in Catania and have the evening to settle in. Dinner is on your own, so you can grab something nearby or rest after travel.

- Day 2
Syracuse and Noto
After breakfast, head to Syracuse to walk through the Archaeological Park of Neapolis and see the Greek Theatre, Roman Amphitheatre, and the Ear of Dionysius. From there, check out Ortigia's historic center with the Cathedral and Arethusa's Fountain. You'll grab lunch at a local spot, then travel to Noto to wander around the 18th-century Baroque architecture at your own pace before heading back to Catania for the night.

Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone, and Agrigento
Travel to Piazza Armerina after breakfast and see Villa Romana del Casale with its polychrome mosaics showing mythological and hunting scenes. Lunch is at a local farmhouse, then you'll go to Caltagirone to walk around the historic center and see the handmade artistic cribs and Christmas markets. The largest crib here has over 300 animated pottery characters. Later, transfer to Agrigento for dinner and overnight.

Agrigento, Marsala, and Salt Road
Start with the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with 5th-century Doric temples including the Temple of Hera, Temple of Concordia, and Temple of Heracles. Travel to Marsala and explore the historic center with its noble palaces and baroque churches. You'll then tour the historic Florio Cellars with a light lunch and wine tasting, and visit the Salt Road archaeological site before transferring to Palermo for the night.

After breakfast, visit Monreale to see the Norman Cathedral and its Arab-Norman Cloister. Then explore Palermo, checking out the Cathedral, Martorana Church, and Cappella Palatina. You'll have lunch with local food and see Teatro Massimo and Pretoria Square fountain. Later, experience New Year's Eve celebrations with lights, music, and concerts in the city squares. Dinner is on your own, though traditional Italian New Year's Eve dining can be arranged.
