What people love about Catania to Palermo Tours
- Sicilian Secrets - Tour of Sicily 6 days
Fantastic tour of Sicily it was a very interesting and busy itinerary and I very much enjoyed the historical content. The Greek and Roman sites were impressive. Our Guide was absolutely brilliant organising a large group! His knowledge of the history and customs of Sicily was excellent. The meals included were of a good standard, however service was slow with such a large party. It would have been helpful to have some basic drinks included as was difficult to organise paying for these at the end of the evening! I would highly recommend Sicilian Secrets!
- Small Group Sicily Food & Wine Tour (Maximum 8 Guests)
Generaly the hotels were satisfactory but for a Senior such as myself thre was too many stairs to climb & strenuous hikes to reach the restaurants/bar/reception.( Notably Ariston & Gargallo( no elevator or Porters). Breakfast Buffet at Ariston was excellent but not so good at Gargallo & Grand Wagner. Transportation & punctuality was excellent. I would have liked to see a rural village & had a meal in such a location.
- Explore Southern Sicily
Sometimes I thought the walking pace was too fast considering of the 12 more than half were over the age of 60 or overweight. Our guide Rosanna either wasn't listening to us, or a bit of an authoritarian personality, so she took any light criticism personally. She wasn't as knowledgeable as I hoped.
