- Day 1
Catania
You'll touch down in Catania and the rest of the day is yours to spend however you'd like. The city center has narrow streets worth walking through, and there's plenty of local food to try. Get a sense of what makes this place tick and the energy of the streets. If you want, arrange a private transfer from the airport to make things easier.

- Day 2
Syracuse - Noto - Ragusa
After breakfast, head south to Syracuse and spend time in the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, which is Sicily's largest Greek settlement from ancient times. Then make your way to the old quarter of Ortigia, where you can see the main square and the Cathedral there. From Syracuse, continue west to Noto, which has baroque buildings and architecture that UNESCO recognizes. By evening you'll reach Ragusa for dinner and sleep.

Modica - Piazza Armerina - Agrigento
Starting after breakfast, walk through Ragusa Ibla to see the churches and the Ibleo gardens spread across the hillside. Travel to Modica next to look at the baroque structures throughout the town, and there's a chocolate maker you can visit with tastings included. Before heading to Agrigento for the night, stop at Villa Romana del Casale, a Roman site that UNESCO lists. Dinner and overnight stay await in Agrigento.

Marsala - Palermo
Once you've had breakfast, spend your morning at the Valley of the Temples, where you'll see several ancient temples including ones dedicated to Juno, Concord, and Hercules. This UNESCO site has remains that go back centuries. Later, head to Marsala for a tasting session at a local winery and get a sense of what they produce there. You'll also pass through the historic Via del Sale, an area with old salt ponds and a nature reserve. Arrive in Palermo for the night.

After breakfast, travel to Monreale to see the Cathedral there, which blends Arab and Norman design, plus its cloisters. Come back to Palermo afterward and explore the Cathedral, the Martorana church with its Byzantine mosaics, and the Palatine Chapel. Stop at a local bakery to grab something to eat, then settle in for your last night in Palermo.
