- Day 1
Lima
You'll arrive in Lima and head to your hotel to settle in. After relaxing through the morning until noon, you'll take a city tour through Colonial Lima's UNESCO sites including Plaza de Armas, Casa de Pizarro, and the Church and Monastery of San Francisco. Later you'll tour the Armano private museum and National Museum of Popular Art and Archaeology before returning to your hotel in Miraflores District.

Lima
Late breakfast at your hotel gets the day started, then you'll head out to explore modern Lima districts in the afternoon. Lunch happens at Cala Restaurant where you can try their Mediterranean-Peruvian fusion cuisine with Pacific Ocean views. The afternoon includes walking through Miraflores and San Isidro, spending time at the Pacific shores, then heading to Hacienda Mamacona for a show featuring Peruvian step horses followed by Creole dinner and traditional regional dances.

Lima to Cuzco
You'll transfer to Lima airport and fly to Cuzco. After arriving, head to your hotel and grab lunch. In the afternoon, a city tour takes you through Kori-Cancha (the Temple of the Sun), the Monastery of Santo Domingo, Plaza de Armas, the cathedral, and the old town with its distinctive 12-angle stone work.

After breakfast you'll visit the ruins surrounding Cuzco including Sacsay Huaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambo Machay. Back in the city, you'll head toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas. At Awanakancha you'll learn about llama, alpaca, and vicuna fiber and traditional weaving techniques. Stop at Pisac's artisan market, have lunch at El Parador de Moray, and visit the Inca fortress at Ollantaytambo before settling into your accommodation in the Sacred Valley.

After breakfast you'll transfer to Ollantaytambo Station and board the Vista Dome train to Aguas Calientes. A 25-minute bus ride takes you to Machu Picchu's citadel where you'll get a guided tour of the Inca site. Free time lets you explore on your own before lunch at Machu Picchu Belmond Sanctuary Lodge. You'll return to Cuzco via train with free time for personal activities.

Lunch happens en route, and if weather cooperates you'll see the snowy Andes peaks. You'll arrive in Puno and check into your hotel.

Puno to Isla del Sol
After breakfast you'll cross the border to Bolivia and head to Copacabana, an important Catholic shrine with a 16th-century Virgin Mary image built by Spanish conquistadors. You'll cruise to Moon Island to visit the Temple of the Sun Virgins Inaku Uyu, then continue to Isla del Sol to see the Temple of the Sun Pilcocaina. Walking with llamas brings you to Posada del Inca Eco Lodge for lunch, then an evening walking tour shows you the community and hilltop for a sunset over Lake Titicaca.

La Paz
After breakfast, a guided walking tour takes you through craft markets with clothing, musical instruments, souvenirs, and witchcraft items. Colonial architecture on Calle Jaen gets explored, then you'll head south to the Valley of the Moon with its distinctive erosion formations. Cable cars help you travel between districts including a stop at Killi Killi Viewpoint before returning to your hotel.

La Paz to Salar de Uyuni
Early breakfast comes before transferring to the airport for your flight to Uyuni. Your guide picks you up and starts exploring the Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat covering over 12,000 km2. A short lunch break happens during exploration, then you'll visit Incahuasi Island surrounded by salt surface and giant cacti reaching over 10 meters tall. After resting at your hotel, you'll head to the Salar's banks for sunset before returning for dinner and overnight.

Leaving at 8:00 am, you'll head south returning to the salt flats with their unusual landscapes. Continuing toward the municipality of San Juan you'll see views of the active Ollague volcano. Local communities get visited, then you'll explore Laguna Canapa and Laguna Hedionda. You'll check into Los Flamencos Ecohotel, take a short break, then walk along the lagoon shores where three species of flamingos can be spotted just meters away before returning for dinner.

After breakfast you'll reach the highest point of this adventure viewing Licancabur Volcano at 5930 m, Laguna Blanca, and Laguna Verde. You'll explore the geysers Sol de Manana, mud pools, and fumaroles, then visit the emerald Laguna Colorada. Continuing to Hito Cajon, the border village between Bolivia and Chile, you'll complete immigration and customs before heading by bus to San Pedro de Atacama and checking into your hotel.

After breakfast you'll transfer early to the airport for your flight to Santiago, Chile's capital. After arriving you'll transfer to your hotel and have lunch. An afternoon sightseeing tour passes Club Hipico, Parque O'Higgins, and Palacio Cousino palace built 1870 to 1878. You'll drive through the city center viewing La Moneda government palace, Universidad de Chile, Church of San Francisco, National Library, and Santa Lucia Mountain. The tour follows the Alameda, crosses Rio Mapocho to the artistic Bella Vista district, then ascends Cerro San Cristobal for city views. Modern residential districts Vitacura and Las Condes get passed through before you return to your hotel.
