Arrival in Hanoi
You'll land in Hanoi and a Legend Travel Group driver will pick you up at the airport, taking you directly to your hotel. After checking in, the afternoon and evening are completely yours to do what you like. Rest up if you need it, or head out and start getting a feel for the city on your own terms.

Hanoi City Tour
Following breakfast, your guide leads you through Hanoi's key sites starting with Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island. From there, you'll see Ho Chi Minh Complex and One Pillar Pagoda before heading to the Vietnam Ethnology Museum (or Women's Museum if it's Monday). After lunch at a local spot, there's Temple of Literature next, then finishing at Hoa Lo Prison before heading back to your hotel by evening.

Hanoi to Ninh Binh
The day starts with an 8:00 am departure from Hanoi for the 2.5-hour drive to Ninh Binh Province. You'll arrive around 10:30 am at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital to walk through two temples, then grab lunch. Afterward comes a boat trip down Ngo Dong River through the karst landscape, passing three caves along the way. You'll climb the 500 stone steps at Mua Cave for views across the region, then drive back to Hanoi, arriving around 8:00 pm.

After an 8:30 to 9:00 am start, you'll drive 3.5 hours to Halong City, passing countryside and rice paddies. At the port, you'll board a traditional Chinese Junk and set out into Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch features fresh seafood onboard, and you'll swim in the emerald water and explore Amazing Cave. By evening you'll anchor in a quiet spot for the night with dinner, relaxing under the stars.

Halong Bay to Hoi An
Rise early to catch the sunrise and have breakfast on the junk. You'll spend the morning cruising past thousands of islands and stopping at a floating fishing village to learn how the fishermen live and work. Lunch comes as you head back toward Halong City pier, arriving around 3:30 to 4:00 pm. From there, transfer directly to the airport for your flight to Hoi An, then head to your hotel with the rest of the evening free to wander the ancient town.

In the afternoon, take a boat on Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village on Cam Kim Island to watch traditional woodworkers and shipbuilders at work. Back in Hoi An by 1:00 pm for lunch on your own, then spend the afternoon browsing lanterns, tailor shops, and handcrafted souvenirs at your own pace.

Hoi An to Hue via Da Nang
After breakfast, you'll depart at 9:00 am heading toward Hue City with stops along the way. In Da Nang, check out the Cham Museum and Ngu Hanh Son Mountain (you'll pay for these tickets separately). Cross scenic Hai Van Pass for views of Son Tra Peninsula, then take a break at Lang Co Beach before arriving in Hue in the afternoon. Once you check in, the rest of the day is open for your own exploration of the imperial city.

Next comes the Imperial Citadel and Purple Forbidden City, both UNESCO sites, followed by a stop at Thuy Xuan incense village to see traditional incense being made. The day wraps up at Dong Ba Market, the largest and most active market in Hue, before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, you'll have free time in Hue until it's time to head to the airport. You'll fly to Ho Chi Minh City where someone will pick you up and take you to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to relax at the hotel or start exploring this bustling city.

Ho Chi Minh City Tour and Cu Chi Tunnels
Following breakfast, explore Ho Chi Minh City's landmarks including Notre Dame Cathedral with its neo-Romanesque architecture and the Central Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel with an ornate interior, plus Reunification Palace. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll drive 75 km (about 1.5 hours) to Cu Chi Tunnels. You'll walk through over 200 km of underground tunnels, seeing trap doors, living areas, storage, weapon factories, hospitals, command centers, and kitchens, plus sample simple fighter cuisine.

Departing at 8:00 am, you'll drive 75 km southeast to My Tho, capital of Tien Giang Province on the Mekong River. You'll explore one or two islands known for traditional handcrafts like coconut candy and bee farms, then visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the region's oldest. A boat trip takes you along the Mekong to the pagoda, surrounded by gardens and intricate architecture. Back in Ho Chi Minh City by evening for an overnight stay.

An early transfer takes you to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, one of Thailand's top attractions. You'll take a boat through small canals to observe local life, visit a coconut farm for fresh coconut juice, and browse seasonal fruits like rambutan, mangoes, and papaya. Back in Bangkok for lunch, then visit Wat Traimit with its 900-year-old solid gold Buddha weighing 5.5 tons. Next is Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn), Bangkok's most recognizable landmark, followed by Wat Po, the city's largest temple famous for its Reclining Buddha.
