- Marc· January 20th, 2025Acknowledging this tour covers a lot of ground, it did not meet expectation. Many hours spent in road side services or in closed up towns (not open for winter). Free time was appreciated in larger/open towns. Very few included activities and city tours were poor. Overall would not recommend this tour.Show moreTrip date: December 2024

- kathleen· October 23rd, 2024The hotel in Lithuania was less than desirable. I found mold and bugs in my room. - AAnonymous· September 24th, 2024Luke is an amazing tour guide! He's so enthusiastic and friendly, and he gets to know everyone in the tour individually. He was a wealth of knowledge of everywhere we went. He and our driver, Csaba, got along amazingly well, too - you'd never know it was their first time tiring together. Csaba was also an amazing driver! He can maneuver that coach on the narrowest roads and tightest curves. The itinerary generally was wonderful, every city is so beautiful and unique. We really didn't have enough time in Riga and Vilnius though, that would've been better. I don't think see needed quite as much time in Gdańsk, but it was still great. I loved going the smaller cities like Toruń - wish we had just a little more time there too. And the castles were all great! It would've been nice to have gone to Krakow, too, even though that would at a day. I should've added it on my own, but I didn't plan it. A lot of people, myself included, didn't know the tour was in two halves, so that would be good to know for folks in the future. Although, us Americans don't get enough time off, so I couldn't have done both halves anyway, but those Australians can! I didn't like it hotel in Vilnius, the beds were hard, overly warm because they don't have AC, no operable window in the room, and the bathroom shower curtain was rusty all along the bottom. It seems like we could've been a little closer to the old city, but I think it may have been due to coach parking. Unfortunately, no one in the tour card for the dinner in Vilnius, so I would suggest finding another place probably. The basement of the restaurant did have a nice visual atmosphere, but again it got too warm for people (and musty), also which we couldn't figure out since it should've been cool. The farewell dinner in Warsaw was great, residuals that traditional chocolate cake! My favorite thing I ate in the whole trip. I'm so glad I took this tour! Several of us have become friends and it's a wonderful part of the world! I can only see it getting more popular!Show moreTrip date: September 2024

Asked on March 10th, 2025we are 77 and 8o and interested in this tour is that possible
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written March 2025
We believe the best way to get to the heart and soul of a city is on foot, surrounded by the people and the culture. For this reason, we do walking tours through most of the cities we visit. Many of the cities you visit are vast and old, often with steps and cobblestones. Our walking tours can last up to 3 hours with plenty of opportunities to take photographs and soak up the history of these fascinating places, but you do require a certain level of fitness to enjoy your tour to its fullest.

Regrettably, no this tour does not have an option with the same countries but with a reversed itinerary. However, this tour is a part of a longer tour and you might want to check the below tour names to see if they might interest you. Best of Scandinavia & the Baltics tour, Copenhagen to Helsinki tour.

Asked on April 17th, 2024Can I get the current price? Mine was 1500 when I booked it.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2024
The price that you quoted is for the August, October and December departures. We sell our seats similar to Flight Tickets wherein the price is cheaper, the further away from the date you book. Your Tour Date is one of the most popular season for this tour and that is why when you booked, it was at the higher price bucket (your current tour schedule is currently fully booked).
- K
Kevin
Asked on March 21st, 2024Are international flights included in the tour price?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written March 2024
Whilst internal flights are covered for certain itineraries, you will have to make your way to the meeting point for the start of your tour. When booking flights be mindful of departure times and possible delays.
Tip: We suggest that you start comparing prices the moment your deposit is paid to avoid costly flights.
