Our transfers from the airport and to the hotel were great. Very grateful. Excellent guides, they took wonderful souvenir photos for us. The food was very good in a relaxed atmosphere. - AWilliam Schaaf· July 12th, 2023Hola Lima Tours, I want to share our opinion about our wonderful experience in Peru at the end of 2022. My wife and I, along with approximately 20 others were touring Cusco, Lima, Machu Picchu and everything in between as an extension of a Celebrity Vacations tour. We were welcomed and led for about four days by Percy Yucra. First and foremost, his command of our language and extremely welcoming smile just put everyone at ease. Next, as he conveyed information about Peru's history and people and guided us with frequent examples and informative facts, we felt we were being personally led by the most caring and personable guide we could ever wish to have. As we visited museums, churches, historical sites and various areas, we learned and enjoyed our time immensely. Unfortunately, at the end of our time in Lima, the airport accident forced everyone into a bit of chaos, as all plans for departure were cancelled and changed. With so many clients and so many itineraries in his care, Percy methodically and caringly took over every single person's situation and saw it through to solution. He had to be stressed with so much responsibility, but no one would have known, since he remained "rock steady" and calm. In summary, Percy built our Peru experience to a vacation of a lifetime and then followed-up with the most competent handling of our "emergency" in departure. Lastly, in addition to his professionalism and competence, Percy will remain one of the nicest and most accommodating/caring people we have met in decades of traveling. He is a gem in every sense and would be a quality addition to any tour-oriented business. We highly recommend him! Best Regards, William and Brenda Schaaf Golden, Colorado USAShow moreTrip date: November 2022Review collected by LimaTours
- Thomas· August 23rd, 2022Great tour with a lot of Highlights in a relative short time. The different tour guides were very helpfull, especially if problems came up, such as a missing hotel reservation at late night arrival for example. Some minibus drivers really scared us with their driving style, but this seems to be unfortunatelly normal un Peru. Overall we had a great time. Thanks.Show moreLimaTours commented on this reviewThank you for taking visiting our destination, Thomas! We are happy to be of service :)Trip date: August 2022

- ALorena & Jonatas· August 27th, 2019I just want to thank all Lima Tours staff for the wonderful trip we had. Everything was perfect. It is hard to pick only one place to say we like the most. Each place we have visited has something that makes it unique. Specially, with the information provided by the guides. All were great! Our journey started in Lima, a huge city with its contrasts. On the first day we had enough time to take a walk around Miraflores from our hotel to Larcomar Mall.Next day during the tour, we had the privilege of seeing the Sunday Easter parade at Plaza de Armas in front of the Cathedral. The carpets made of flowers were beautiful! We walked through the historical center, we visited the Convento, Casa de Aliaga and the Larco Museum with our guide who made the visits more interesting. We traveled to Pisco to take the small plane to see the Nazca Lines. Seeing the lines was a dream that came true. The hotel was great, the room view of the sunset was epic. Hundreds of photos taken.Next day, Islas Ballestas. I have never seen so many birds at the same time. How rich the reserve is!After that, we enjoyed our free time at the beautiful hotel and had lunch at a local restaurant in Paracas with our guide and driver, we went back to Lima. One more opportunity to taste Peruvian culinary. The following day we arrived in the picturesque Cusco city. We visited archeological sites and the Cathedral. Our guide was very conscious of our struggle to breath in such high altitude, so we walked slowly with frequent stops. Perfect!Early in the morning, we travel to Ollantaytambo to take the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. The train ride is a must to do in Peru.In Aguas Calientes, we met our guide who took us to a bus ride until Machu Picchu.Wow! Machu Picchu is the highlight of the trip and it was saved to the end, now I can understand why. It is hard to express in words the emotion felt when we saw the citadel at the first time. Love it! Our guide new all the best spots to take photos where didn?t have too many tourists around. All explanation given to us just made the tour more interesting. I am still thinking how ancient Peruvian people were so smart, how they knew so much!!Too soon we need to go back home, but our Peru trip will be in our memories forever.Thank you!Show moreTrip date: May 2019

Asked on March 25th, 2025Is there an additional supplement cost? For the Machu Picchu part of the tour, can I also do the Huayna Picchu?
- LimaToursOperator•Written March 2025
There's no supplement cost for single accommodation. You will have to search until find the rate in single room accommodation. Unfortunately it's not possible to make Huayna Picchu, in order to make it, you will have to spend one night in Aguas Calientes, this itinerary does not include an overnight there.

Traveler•Written March 2025Do Lima Tours provide the option of being partnered with another solo traveler in the group in order to get the double occupancy rate?
- LimaToursOperator•Written March 2025
We do not provide that option for solo passengers, due that this is not a group departure. You will have private transfers from/to each airport, the excursions are shared with other passengers travelling with LimaTours too. That's why we do not offer the option to share with other passengers.
