Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
You'll be met at the airport and driven to your Kathmandu hotel. On the way in, stop at Pashupatinath Temple where you can see holy saddhus and cremation ceremonies happening along the Bagmati River. After that, head to Boudhanath Stupa, one of Buddhism's most sacred sites. The day ends in Patan, the city across the river from Kathmandu, where you'll walk through neighborhoods filled with ancient architecture and traditional courtyards.

- Day 2
Kathmandu to Pokhara
A 7-hour drive takes you from Kathmandu to Pokhara, covering about 210 km and dropping to 2,352 feet elevation. Midway, there's an option to take a 10-minute cable car up to Manakamana Temple if you're interested. Once you reach your Pokhara hotel, you'll settle in and check out the views of the surrounding hills and valleys, which are particularly nice when the weather cooperates.

- Day 3
Pokhara to Jomsom
After breakfast, you'll catch an early morning flight to Jomsom, a small mountain village with basic lodging. The airport's just a 2-minute walk from where you'll stay, and porters can help with bags. Then you head to Muktinath Temple, which involves a 15-20 minute walk over a narrow bridge across the Kali Gandaki River. From there, a shared 4x4 jeep bounces along a dirt road for about 1.5 hours each way, then another 30-minute walk gets you to the temple itself for your own darshan before heading back to Jomsom.

Jomsom to Pokhara
An early morning flight takes you back to Pokhara, and you'll head straight to your hotel. This afternoon, visit Bindebasini Temple, an older temple dedicated to Goddess Durga with Himalayan views on clearer days. Wander through the nearby old bazaar area after that. Then check out Devi's Fall, a striking waterfall about 2 km southwest of town (it's most dramatic during summer and the rainy season). Just across the road is Gupteshwor Cave, famous for its natural limestone formations, though photography isn't allowed inside. Later in the day, take a one-hour boat ride across Phewa Lake.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
You'll drive back toward Kathmandu, retracing the same route for about 7 hours, and get checked in at your hotel. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to spend how you like, whether that's browsing shops or testing your luck at the casinos.

Departure from Kathmandu
Your morning is free to move at your own pace. Later on, a driver will pick you up and take you to the airport so you can catch your onward flight and head home.
