Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
Your pickup happens at Tribhuvan International Airport, and from there you'll head to Hotel Florid Nepal in Thamel. The afternoon is yours to wander around the neighborhood and get familiar with the area. Before dinner, there's a trekking briefing at the office or hotel where you'll go over the details for the trek ahead. Florid Garden Restaurant is a good choice for your meal, and you should stop by Kalapathar Trekking Shop to pick up any gear you need.

Kathmandu to Pokhara
Your guide picks you up from the hotel and takes you to the bus station for the journey to Pokhara. The bus ride covers about 200 km and takes roughly 6-7 hours, so plan for a long day on the road. Once you arrive in Pokhara, the evening is free for you to settle in and relax. If you prefer to skip the bus ride, a 30-minute flight is available for an extra fee.

Pokhara to Ulleri
After about an hour's drive from Pokhara, you'll reach Nayapul where the trek officially begins. The path follows the Modi Koha river as you make your way to Brethanti. From there, you'll continue through Hile and Tikhedhunga, tackling the steep steps that lead up to Ulleri where you'll stay for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Modi Koha Nayapul - Day 4
Ulleri to Ghorepani
Leaving Ulleri, the route becomes more gentle as you climb through rhododendron and oak forests heading toward Banthanti. From Banthanti, another couple of hours of trekking gets you to Ghorepani, a well-known stop for the Poonhill trek. You'll sleep in a guesthouse here, which puts you in position for an early start tomorrow to catch the sunrise.

Poonhill - Tadapani
Rise early and hike up to Poonhill, which takes about an hour from Ghorepani. The sunrise reveals sweeping views across the Himalayan peaks including Manaslu, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri. After heading back down for breakfast in Ghorepani, you'll continue trekking to Tadapani for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Poonhill Manaslu - Day 6
Tadapani to Ghandruk
Today's hike is shorter, taking 3-4 hours to reach Ghandruk. This village has historical significance related to the Gurkha soldiers, and you'll have time to look around and visit the Gurang Museum. Overnight accommodation is in a local guesthouse.

Ghandruk to Pokhara
The trek back takes about 5 hours total. You'll descend for a couple of hours first, then continue along the road until reaching Nayapul. From there, a car ride brings you back to Pokhara for the night.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
