Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll arrive in Kathmandu and get settled into your accommodation. Later this evening, head to a local restaurant in Thamel Bazaar where you'll have a welcome dinner featuring authentic Nepali food. It's a great way to start experiencing the local flavors and get a feel for the energy of this cultural area.

Kathmandu
After breakfast, join a guided tour through Kathmandu's cultural sites. You'll start at Durbar Square to see the historic palaces, then head to Swoyambhunath Stupa where you can take in views of the city from up there. From there, walk through Patan Durbar Square to check out the temples and local artisan shops. Later, before dinner, you'll participate in a cooking demonstration at Seven Women restaurant, a place run by women from marginalized communities.

Chitwan National Park
After breakfast, you'll travel to Chitwan National Park for the next portion of your trip. Once you arrive and settle into your accommodation, spend the rest of the day relaxing and taking in the surroundings. You're now in a wildlife sanctuary with grasslands and forests, home to rhinos, tigers, elephants, and over 500 bird species.

Chitwan National Park
Start your day with a 45-minute canoe ride on the river, keeping an eye out for wildlife along the water. After that, take a guided walk along the riverbank into a nearby village. During the afternoon, go on a 4-hour jeep safari where you might spot rhinos, tigers, and various bird species. Chitwan is one of the only places in Nepal where rhinos actually roam through town.

Pokhara
Travel to Pokhara, a lakeside town set below the Annapurna Mountains. After you check in, take an evening walk around Phewa Lake and visit Tal Barahi Temple. Walk through some of the fisherman villages in the area and explore the local bazaars. The lake reflects the surrounding mountains nicely at different times of day.

Pokhara
Today you'll trek for about 5 to 6 hours toward Australian Camp, passing through Dhampus village on the way. The route takes you through rhododendron forests, past terraced farmland, and by traditional villages. You'll have good views of the Annapurna range throughout the trek, and you'll see local wildlife and meet people from indigenous communities in the area.

Return to Kathmandu
