The tour was excellent, with excellent planning and support. I would highly recommend it to anybody fortunate to visit Uzbekistan. Steppe Journey was incredibly helpful in adapting the itinerary to our needs, always with a quick response. This was especially impressive given the short timeframe in planning the trip, from the time that we first contacted the agency. All the tour guides and drivers were excellent and went beyond the call of service. This included spending time to answer our questions and to adjust the tour as necessary. Their suggestions on places to visit was excellent. The restaurants were all quite good and reasonably priced-- with many locals and few tourists. The Tashkent-based agent was in constant communication with us and highly responsive to our requests. Any logistical issues (and these were minor!) were quickly and efficiently resolved. In short, I would highly recommend the tour and the agency.

I enjoy being the sole guest in the tour. I had good guides and drivers throughout the trip. Good balance of my.personal time and time with guide. The hotels in Buhara and Samakand had could be better, but the hotel in Tashkent was very good. Pickup and dropoff service was very good. I would consider using the agency for my next Central Asia trip.
