Arrival
You'll check in to your 4-star hotel starting at 3:00 p.m. Get settled into your room and arrange dinner on your own this evening before your first night.
- Day 2
Cape Town
Start with a panoramic tour through Cape Town's historic center, walking past cobblestone roads and monuments. Take the Table Mountain Cableway up for 360-degree views of Table Bay and the surrounding mountains (if weather cooperates). After lunch, head to Groot Constantia estate, South Africa's oldest vineyard, where you'll tour the cellar and do a wine tasting. Return to your hotel for dinner and spend the night.

Cape of Good Hope
Head to Cape of Good Hope along Chapman's Peak Drive on the Atlantic coast, a scenic route with valleys, bays and beaches where you'll see diverse wildlife. Take the Flying Dutchman funicular to the summit for the old lighthouse and panoramic views. After lunch, visit the penguin colony near Simon's Town to see the Jackass Penguins and hear their distinctive braying calls. Return for dinner and overnight.

Chobe National Park

Impalila Island, Namibia
Travel to authentic villages on Impalila Island, Namibia and see traditional houses and customs. Back at the lodge for lunch, then you have free time in the afternoon to use the pool and lodge amenities. Later, join your guide for an evening boat trip on the Zambezi River. Have dinner at the lodge while your guide shares island traditions, then settle in for the night.

Matusadona National Park
Morning safari around Matusadona National Park, an untouched 1,400 km² area with elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo and thousands of birds like African Sea Eagles, Yellow-billed Storks and Black Herons. Learn about Operation Noah, the historic rescue that moved over 6,000 animals here during Lake Kariba's creation and established this protected area where hunting is prohibited. Return on board for lunch. A round table discussion covers the lake's creation, its inhabitants and ecosystem. Dinner and overnight on board.

Lake Kariba to Victoria Falls
Set sail at sunrise toward Kariba to visit the gigantic Kariba Dam, built in 1955 to form Lake Kariba. Hear the history and legends of the lake's creation, including the tale of NyamiNyami, the river god. The dam supplies 70% of Zimbabwe's electric power. A private plane flies you to Victoria Falls. Have an exceptional lunch cruise on the Zambezi River upstream from the falls. Spend the afternoon at leisure with pool time and savannah views at your 4-star hotel.
