Itinerary
- Day 1FlorenceYou'll arrive in Florence and have the morning and early afternoon to explore on your own. There's plenty to do if you want it - climb Giotto's Tower for views over the city, spend time in the Uffizi Gallery, or walk across the Ponte Vecchio bridge to browse the shops. Later in the afternoon, you'll meet up with the group for a briefing about the tour, get fitted to your bike, and hear suggestions for dinner spots around the city. - Meals

- Day 2Florence to Radda in ChiantiToday you'll cycle out of Florence heading into Chianti, tackling some hills as you make your way to Radda in Chianti. Along the route, stop in Greve to check out the main square and the well-known Macelleria Falorni, where they make local salumi. Radda itself is a small town with history - it sits at a point where travelers have crossed paths heading both north and south through the region for centuries. - Meals

- Day 3Chianti to SienaYou'll cycle through southern Chianti this morning, then spend the afternoon in Siena. This medieval city is one of Italy's best-preserved, and it has real character - back in the 1300s, it actually competed with Florence for power in Tuscany. Walking through the city walls feels like stepping back several centuries. - Meals

- Day 4Siena to San GimignanoYour ride takes you into the heart of Tuscany, passing vineyards and 17th century villas along with small towns scattered through the landscape. You're heading to San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its medieval towers from the 13th and 14th centuries. It's one of Italy's most well-preserved medieval villages from that era. - Meals

- Day 5San Gimignano to VinciYou'll cycle through rolling hills dotted with small towns, olive groves, and vineyards on your way to Vinci, where Leonardo da Vinci was born. At your destination, you can visit his birthplace and check out a museum with scale models of his inventions and designs. - Meals

- Day 6Vinci to LuccaToday's route takes you west through the Tuscan countryside toward Lucca, where you'll be staying for two nights. On the way, there's a climb up to the Medici villa in Cerreto Guidi - it's worth the effort for the views along the route. Lucca itself is a former Roman town that became one of medieval Italy's wealthier city-states. You'll find medieval streets, small shops, sidewalk cafes, and a beautiful 17th-century wall that circles the whole town. - Meals

- Day 7Lucca - Pisa and ReturnThis is your last cycling day, and you'll head to Pisa. On the way, you'll pass Lake Massaciuccoli, where composer Puccini worked on many of his operas. Once you reach Pisa, you can see the famous Leaning Tower and the Piazza of Miracles - arriving by bike is definitely a different way to experience it. After exploring, you'll return to Lucca for the evening, where you can take a passeggiata along the main pedestrian way or wander through the alleys and piazzas. - Meals
