You've got the full day to explore Cape Town with several options. You can head up Table Mountain, check out Cape Point, or take a wine tour around Stellenbosch. Later on, there's an optional group dinner at one of the local restaurants if you'd like to join in.

Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
You'll travel along the scenic Panorama Route toward the Kruger National Park area. By evening, you'll have a traditional dinner with local performers who'll share traditional dances and music with the group.

Kruger National Park
This is a full day safari drive in Kruger National Park. You'll be looking for the big five - lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo - as you drive through this iconic reserve.

Kruger to Timbavati Safari Lodge
You'll head north to Timbavati Safari Lodge for a guided nature walk focused on spotting the small five, those smaller African creatures that are just as fascinating. The lodge sits in glades of mature indigenous trees, making it great for bird watching too.

Timbavati to Louis Trichardt

Get going early to cross from South Africa into Zimbabwe. From there, you'll continue on to the Great Zimbabwe Monument, one of Africa's most significant archaeological sites.

Great Zimbabwe to Matobo National Park
Start the morning at the Great Zimbabwe National Monument, Africa's most significant ruins site south of Cairo. You'll learn the history of the site and climb up to the citadel for views across it. After that, you'll head to Matobo National Park.
