Tunmise· October 12th, 2025I’m writing to express my disappointment with my overall experience using Tourradar and Europamundo. To start with, I had a serious issue with my eSIM, which could have left me stranded in Europe. Despite reaching out through every available channel—chat, email, and phone calls—the responses I received were repetitive and unhelpful. My complaint was not about loading or registering the SIM; it was that I could not top up my eSIM because I couldn’t sign in to my Tourradar account. Unfortunately, no one seemed to actually listen to this concern. The team kept sending the same generic instructions and never provided a working solution or any follow-up. There were no check-ins, no confirmation that the issue was resolved, and no genuine customer support effort. Moving on to the tour experience, I joined a Spanish-led tour where English speakers were sometimes included as an afterthought. If you’re considering this tour, make sure to ask in advance how many English speakers will be present. If you’re the only one, you’ll likely feel left out and excluded, as English translations and explanations can be inconsistent or incomplete. If possible, I’d recommend opting for an English-only tour, as the guides’ English proficiency levels varied from moderate to very limited. In terms of organization, the tour also lacked clarity. When I began my trip in Portugal, there was no communication about meeting times or gathering points, no posted information in the hotel lobby, and overall poor coordination. That said, I would like to acknowledge and thank Hiren, Begonia (local guide in Santiago de Compostela), Pedro, and Juliana—they were professional, kind, and made genuine efforts to improve the experience. Pedro, in particular, was the most fluent English speaker and very accommodating. Overall, this experience fell short of expectations, both in customer service and tour organization. I hope Tourradar takes this feedback seriously and improves communication, responsiveness, and clarity; I however will not be returning.Show more
Europamundo commented on this reviewRegarding the information about the tour departure, it is always indicated before purchase that the schedules and meeting points are available in the hotel lobby, and that the guides will post the corresponding notices. In your case, the notice was... Show moreTrip date: September 2025- NBNigel Ivan· September 10th, 2025The trip was good, we had a good tour. But only breakfast was included and two dinners, which seems prickly considering the overall price of the adventure. When we went for a tour of Italy last year, all meals were included and the overall trip was cheaper. Before the tour we were asked if we wanted a double bed or twin beds in the hotels, so since I went with my wife, I asked for a double bed, and out of the 11 nights, only 3 nights did we have a double bed, and the last two nights in Madrid, it was only because I asked that the hotel changed our room. I had asked several times, and was told by Europamundo that they were not in control of the rooms, but each time I asked the hotel, and I was told that it was Europamundo who booked the room with twin beds and that they could not change it. Whenever I was sleeping in the twin beds, I was falling several times down the middle, so most nights I was not feeling rested. Otherwise most of the tour was in Spanish, and some guides were doing the translations, but from Oviedo, we had an American guide and that was a lot better. Sometimes the coach driver was going too fast, especially on bends in high mountain roads and it was scary, my wife had a panic attack and was threatening to quit the tour, but the guide talked to the driver and he eventually slowed down. The tour itself was good, we saw a lot of Portugal, and we had some good explanations of some cultural architecture, and the towns were worth visiting. Sometimes we did not spend enough time in some areas, and we would have loved to have a local guide for every town/village we had visited. We only had 4 local guides overall. And when we arrived in Madrid, we had the impression that we were just dumped there, and they did not follow the tour programme anymore, and their explanation was to say that they reserve the right to modify the program. In fact, they did not follow at all, and it is only thanks to a guide who was looking after another group that we managed to see the Bernabeu, because he felt sorry for 5 of us who being abandoned by Europamundo. And then they replaced the morning tour with a 2 hour afternoon one which was ok, and the guide there did take time to translate in English, but it really should have happened in the morning thus leaving us the afternoon free, as per the published programme. Overall, despite all those problems, we did enjoy the tour, it was a good voyage of discovery, and we’ve would recommend it only if they fix a few things.Show more
Europamundo commented on this reviewDear Nigel, Thank you very much for sharing your experience and providing such detailed feedback about the “Complete Portugal and Northern Spain” tour. We are glad to hear that, despite the inconveniences, you enjoyed the journey and the discovery of... Show moreTrip date: August 2025 - JHJanice· October 27th, 2024We liked nearly all the sites we visited. The main problem seemed to be time. We would have a time to be back to the bus, which was never enough time to walk to and from the bus, find a place to eat, use the washrooms and shop too. Maybe there was just too much time spent trying to see too much in the tour we chose. Some of the spanish speaking guides spoke very fast and very long, but the English guides seemed to speak much quicker, maybe 7-9 minutes vs. 20 of spanish. We did meet so many nice people on the trip and learned a lot.Show more

Jennifer· May 28th, 2023The days were very long and not enough time to even have a proper dinner. The tour groups were quite large …. Hotels were fine. Tour guide , Maria was great! Tour started badly with tour bus being over 1 hour late. You did provide an excursion as a courtesy compensation ….. Thanks for the trip and for taking care of us. Kind regards, JenniferShow more

Asked on June 10th, 2025I'm trying to find out the difference between this tour and the same tour that ends in Lisbon instead of Madrid. From what I see, seems one has the amphitheater and the other has the stadium.
EuropamundoOperator•Written June 2025The difference is on the two last days. Complete Portugal and Northern Spain ends in Madrid with two days in Madrid, while the tour ending in Lisbon includes stops at Mérida, Évora before reaching Lisbon.
EuropamundoOperator•Written June 2025We currently operate with a minimum of two passengers. However, we cannot guarantee operation for all departures due to pandemic-related uncertainties. We recommend checking country entry requirements to avoid potential travel impediments.
