- Richard· March 10th, 2025The guides were very good. The hotels were good to average, some feeling a little dated. It was go get em tour with some really early starts and long days. Some of the later buses and roads combined could have been better. All in all though a tour Im glad I did. Amazing memories madeShow moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThank you for taking the time to share your feedback!Trip date: February 2025
- RFRandolph· December 25th, 2023We covered the highlights very well. The killing fields and prison were very moving. Siem Riep was excellent, but the dawn viewing of Angkor Wat wasn't worth the trip. Viewing from the west put the towers in silhouette for us. Better to view from the east so the dawn light illuminates the towers.Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThank you so much for the feedback!Trip date: December 2023

- AAnonymous· May 3rd, 2023What a fantastic tour. 10 Days in Vietnam travelling from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City led by our fabulous guide Hung Do. Hung’s historical and local knowledge was great. We did the back streets of Hanoi add-on with Hung and had an absolute blast. Down narrow alleys, get a feel for life in Hanoi, a fabulous Bun Cha lunch and cold beer at the end of the day. Sights, smells, tastes it had everything. Hung went out of his way to make sure everyone was well looked after. He was always there before the first tour members appeared for breakfast in the morning and last to leave in the evening. Great recommendations for meals. Took care of tour members requiring extra assistance. Do this tour with Hung and you are in very capable hands.Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewMany thanks for the rave review!Trip date: April 2023
- AAnonymous· May 3rd, 2023The tour was absolutely amazing. Out tour guide Hung was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable and great fun. Our group was excellent. The education we gained on both countries was above and beyond what we expected. I would highly recommend this tour it had everything but still enough down time.Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThank you so much for the wonderful recommendation!Trip date: April 2023

- John· April 11th, 2023I have done 3 OTG tours and have loved every single one Egypt, Peru, Sri Lanka - but this, my 4th tour really became my favourite quickly. Vietnam and Cambodia are both Are both amazing places - with interesting history, wonderful food, great culture and kind friendly people. The trip itself - without a lie is full on. We were busy and had things on almost everyday - BUT it wasn’t a bad thing, As with all OTG trips - you go out in the morning to see the sites, come back the afternoon to do your own thing. There wasn’t a hotel pool I didn’t swim in on this tour - I used them all in my free time. This trip is very well planned out - and runs like a well oiled machine. AMAZING. My group had 24 people which was great, small enough to be a small group, but big enough that we didn’t annoy each other, always felt there were different conversations around which was fun. Ages between 34 - 85 - so a great range of people from around the world - Australians, Canadians, South Africans, Brits, Scottish and Americans. Highlights were the junk boat in Ha Long Bay - with kayaking, cave exploring, beaching, and also a roof top spring roll making class on the deck at sunset Hoi An - a fabulous town. If Venice and Amsterdam had a baby - it would be Hoi An. Fun, vibrant, full of energy - amazing food and some really cool OTG activities, like the bike ride to the farm, vesper food tour, we stayed in a beautiful resort - and had 3 nights here. Cu chi tunnels - really fascinating place. During the war people lived underground in areas to protect them from the destruction above. You can go into the tunnels and also see how they lived and survived very interesting. Angkor Wat/“Tomb Raider” temple. In Cambodia - wow, temples, temples everywhere and they are all so massive and unique in their own way. Angkor wat is amazing to see - was Soooooo hot when we went - but that didn’t stop us - along with the sunrise over it - so beautiful. Angkor Thom or “tomb raider temple” (featured in Angelina Jolie film Tomb raider” was my favourite place. I could’ve run around that for hours - so unique and beautiful. Tree and Crop Plantation. We went to a farm and we literally planted a crop - now I mean it was a full group task, we dug the hole, in the soil, planted the herbs, watered it, it was fun and cool…. And the same with the tree planting in Cambodia. Meeting the village chief and we plant led fruit trees that will grow to feed his village. It was Amazing to see, and such a awesome experience. I’ve never caught so many different modes of transport in a short period of tie in my life… lol. Bus, plane, train, kayak, junk boat, vesper, motor bike, cable car, gondola, rickshaw, boats - so much fun. The overnight train - is no way near as bad as people say. I’ve done the Egypt train also. I found the Vietnam cabins cleaner and more comfortable than Egypt - But Egypt has the better bar cart. We Brough drinks on board, and we all hung out in our rooms and the corridor of the train carriage we were in. The scenery the next morning was beautiful. Our guide for Vietnam was Kien, and for Cambodia we had Sam and Ny (you need different guides in each country - and for Cambodia, each area). Kien was soooo fabulous - kind, caring and really had a passion for his job. Nothing was to hard a task for him and he was hilarious and gave out so much info about his country, that all of it was really interesting. Sam was lovely - and had the task of the very heavy/deep areas of Cambodia - like the old torture prison and killing fields. There were very interesting and quite emotional things to see NY - also fabulous - FULL of energy - with the cheekiest laugh you’ve ever heard. He was so fun. Look - I could gush for hours about this trip, it was so awesome. I highly recommend anyone wanting a fun adventure, and that feeling of really seeing these countries in depth, to do this trip - you won’t regret itShow moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThanks for the amazing feedback, Johnny! - JDJudith· March 28th, 2023Wonderful trip. If I were to do it again I would skip the mekong delta. It was a very very long journey for not very much reward. The river is absolutely full of plastic & rubbish & the boat trips short & not great. The floating market wasn't great either. The rest of the trip was fabulous & the hotels good.Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThanks so much for the great feedback, Judith! We are so pleased you enjoyed your tour. - OROliva Linda· February 27th, 2020Guides were excellent. So helpful and careful to make sure that we were all appropriately accommodated for our individual needs. Hanoi hotel was not the best but still very adequate. Remaining hotels got better and better. One too many Hanoi and Hoi An days. Could do one more Saigon. All meals were very good. Loved the tuktuk, the farm, the cooking, the tree planting, the museums, the temples, the markets.Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThank you kindly for taking the time to pass on your feedback!Trip date: February 2020
