- HDHelena· August 8th, 2025The trip was fantastic. Our hosts arranged every aspect of the trip in Tanzania and Zanzibar including the local flights in Tanzania and Zanzibar, accommodations, permits and park fees, food and just about everything and it was all seamless. The actual experience was better than we expected as the parks were stunning with lots of wild animals, beautiful landscapes, unforgettable sunsets and amazing accommodation in some of the best lodges that we've ever been to. Food was also excellent. Zanzibar was the ultimate relaxation place, with the pristine white tropical beaches and clean waters. It was just perfect.Show moreZara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures) commented on this reviewDear guest, We are very thankful for your constructive appreciation of our team, facilities, service, and everything else you have enjoyed during your trip to Tanzania. - ACArthur· August 7th, 2025My brothers and I did a 6-day safari to Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro with Zara Tanzania Adventures. I was a bit nervous because it was going to be our first time in Africa, and the stories we hear about Tanzania suggest it's a complete jungle that might not have adequate accommodations for us. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to find a well-developed place with nice roads, hotels, and just about everything we have back in Dublin. The safari drives were amazing; we had Jude with us to guide us through the different parks. We enjoyed the Serengeti the most because of its beauty, numerous animals, and birds. It is here that we saw the wildebeest migration, including a magnificent river crossing! We highly recommend visiting the Serengeti in Tanzania, and if you book with Zara Tanzania Adventures, it will be an adventure of epic proportions.Show moreZara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures) commented on this reviewDear guest, We are very thankful for your constructive appreciation of our team, facilities, service, and everything else you have enjoyed during your trip to Tanzania. - TPTomas· August 5th, 2025We can’t stop talking about our trip to Tanzania with Zara Tanzania Adventures and especially our guide Bright who made it all special with action-packed game drives. The number of animals that we saw during the trip is unbelievably huge ranging from the massive wildebeest herds in Serengeti, elephant herds with hundreds of animals in Serengeti, lots of lions in Ngorongoro and Serengeti, many different bird species, and a host of many other animals. Staying in the hotels and lodges operated by the sister company helped to keep the costs low while still enjoying luxury and comfort. I cannot fault anything about this trip, it was just amazingShow moreZara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures) commented on this reviewDear guest, We are very thankful for your constructive appreciation of our team, facilities, service, and everything else you have enjoyed during your trip to Tanzania. - ETEva· July 16th, 2025Our guide Shaban was amazing; he knew all about the animals we encountered and could answer any questions we had about them. We were also impressed by his careful and skilled driving, which kept my family safe on the roads where some crazy driving was happening. We had many wildlife sightings, including a rare sighting of mating lions, a troop of wild dogs, and a huge cobra slithering across the road. We were lucky enough to see the great migration on three separate occasions. We are also very happy with Shaban's extra care during lunch, where he would find a lovely spot and set up the table and chairs, then continue to serve us lunch. The stay in Tented Camps and Lodges completed the adventure, as their services are excellent while still preserving the feeling of adventure. Everyone deserves to experience a safari adventure with such a wonderful host at least once in their lifetime!Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- MSMaria· July 13th, 2025We had an outstanding safari experience in Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti with our guide Jonathan from Zara Tours. Jonathan was knowledgeable, attentive, and went above and beyond to provide us with fantastic experiences during our game drives, locating all the animals we were eager to see and answering all of our questions. He made the journey engaging and fun, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food at all the accommodations was superb, and the lodges were located in stunning settings. - BJBeatrice· July 4th, 2025We went on a nine-day safari with our guide Tarimo, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we were picked up to the time we were dropped off at the airport, Tarimo ensured we felt comfortable. He was fluent in English, a superb driver, and had extensive knowledge about the wildlife, culture, landscapes, and flora. Each day of our game drives took us to new areas where we encountered stunning wildlife sights and sounds. The accommodations were cozy, the staff was wonderful, and the food was exceptional! - GAGohar· June 24th, 2025Planning our trip with Zayina went smoothly and with her help, we were able to create an itinerary to all the parks that we wanted, include a tribal visit, a walking tour and hot air balloon ride and also select the lodges that we wanted. We chose the 9 day safari through Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti which are the main iconic parks in the Northern circuit. I can happily report that each was unique in its own special way. The most defining factor was having Shaban as our guide, he really enriched our overall experience as he knew all the best routes, and had all the info about the animals; their habits.... and the overall Serengeti Ngorongoro ecosystem which is the main focus. The lodge experience was first class as the lodges were fantastic pit stops with great food and clean comfortable rooms. Based on our experience, we recommend Zara Tours without any hesitation.Show moreZara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures) commented on this reviewDear guest, We are very thankful for your constructive appreciation of our team, facilities, service, and everything else you have enjoyed during your trip to Tanzania. - STSavanah· June 23rd, 2025My husband and I did 6 days of safari with Zara Tanzania Adventure and our experience is like nothing we have ever had on our past safari tours. Our guide Isdory was very caring, punctual and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make sure we saw all the animals that were on our wish-list. He also kept the vehicle clean and his presence added value to the trip. We are also happy to have stayed at the Tanzania Wild Camps - Serengeti Safari Lodge, Highview Coffee Lodge, Springlands Hotel and Ngorongoro Safari Lodge. - WWWendy· June 23rd, 2025I hired Zara Tanzania Adventures to put together a safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, in Tanzania, and they have been phenomenal. The safari was a fun adventure seeing different animals up close with Meja our driver and guide, and he is the real deal, a great driver, kind, and calm, and so knowledgeable about just about the parks, wildlife and nature in general. Zayina was our trip designer and was easy to work with; she set up a great itinerary. - PCPedri· June 20th, 2025We had an unforgettable experience arranged by Zara Tanzania, with our outstanding guide Simon making it 100% fantastic. Our safari took us through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. These parks are well endowed with diverse wildlife species, and we got to see the Big 5, the Great Wildebeest Migration and many other wildlife species. Some of the safari highlights include a pack of hyenas chasing a lion from its buffalo kill and eventually stealing it. Jacob was an outstanding and reliable guide, and he made the trip absolutely remarkable for great wildlife encounters and tribal visits to the Maasai and Hadza tribes. Asked on June 24th, 2025If I join a group for this tour and i want to take the additional game Drive option at $ 380, how is it going and concretely what is there?
- Zara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures)Operator•Written June 2025
The additional game drive is a full-day private game drive. While you will be part of the group for the main tour, this extra game drive is organized separately for you. You will have a private 4x4 safari vehicle with a professional guide for the day. The game drive takes place in one of the national parks on the itinerary, depending on the schedule and your preferences. Popular options include Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, or Tarangire. You will have more flexibility to explore areas of your interest, spend extra time at sightings, and increase your chances of seeing more wildlife. The price includes park fees, transport, guide, and lunch.

- R
Ruth
Traveler•Written June 2025And is it guarantee to see wildebeest migration there?
- Zara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures)Operator•Written June 2025
Yes of course you will visit central Serengeti. The wildebeest migration is a year-round circular movement, so the herds are always somewhere in the Serengeti–Mara ecosystem. No - wildlife is unpredictable and depends on: rainfall patterns, grazing availability, timing of your visit. But with proper planning (and sometimes a bit of luck), your chances can be very high, especially if you: go during peak migration months for that area, stay for several days (increases odds).

Traveler•Written May 2025What is the Maasai Boma Tour and how is it different from Osiligilai Maasai?
- Zara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures)Operator•Written May 2025
The Maasai Boma Tour is a cultural experience where visitors are welcomed into a traditional Maasai village. You get to learn about the Maasai way of life, see their houses, watch traditional dances, and hear stories about their customs and history. The Osiligilai Maasai is a more organized cultural lodge experience. It combines Maasai culture with comfortable accommodation and activities like nature walks and dancing shows. It's designed more for tourists, while a Boma Tour is usually more traditional and simple.
- Zara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures)Operator•Written May 2025
Yes it is possible to book Masai Boma and Olduvai Gorge. Masai Boma is $50 per person, Olduvai Gorge is $35 per person.

Asked on February 5th, 2025We are hoping to get the wildebeest migration, which is the best time. Also we have a diabetic person, so how do we go about their dietary restrictions?
- Zara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures)Operator•Written February 2025
The best time for wildebeest migration calving season is between January to March. The wildebeest calving happens in the Ndutu Conservation Area. At the lodges/camps & up market hotels in Tanzania, food is of a reasonably high standard. A dietary restriction does not prevent you from going on safari, so any Special meal requests must be communicated to us in writing at the time of booking (Vegetarian, Vegan, Food allergies, gluten free, etc).
