- MKMarija· September 19th, 2025By any measure, it was a wonderful safari tour experience in Tanzania. Everything went off as planned owing to the excellent planning and perfect execution by the team at Zara. We were paired with an outstanding guide/driver Juma who was an expert on Ngorongoro, Serengeti; flora, fauna, culture and so much about Tanzania, giving his insight on the same. We had many wonderful encounters with wildlife, perfect picnics on the land and amazing times back at the carefully selected tented camps and lodges. The Land Cruiser was spacious and comfortable and kept very clean. The weather was great and we had an incredible time. We did not get to see the migration in Serengeti but we still enjoyed the overall experience a lot!Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- AMArnold· September 15th, 2025We had an incredible experience on our luxury safari in Tanzania! Our driver and guide Shaban was the star of the trip with his outstanding support as a guide, we loved the different tented camps and lodges that we were booked as they offered exceptional services. We are truly grateful for an unforgettable trip.Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- RWRaquel· September 14th, 2025Our recent family trip in Tanzania through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti was incredible as Tanzania is a beautiful country and the choice of parks had great sights, but it was our guide Mustapha who made the trip special with his outstanding support as a well-informed and talented guide. He treated us to exceptional wildlife encounters, wonderful commentary, and cared for us in the vehicle. If you're considering a safari in Tanzania, book with Zara Tanzania Adventures; they are hands down the best operator that we have ever gone on safari with.Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- GDGeo· September 10th, 2025We had an outstanding experience with Zara Tours. Our guide Joseph was knowledgeable, kind, and went above and beyond to make our trip special. The 4x4 safari vehicle was comfortable, clean, and had spacious for the 4 of us and also left enough room to keep our equipment, supplies and even a small fridge to keep our water and drinks cool. We witnessed a variety of wild animals in their natural habitat, which was truly phenomenal. I encourage anyone considering a trip to Tanzania to book with Zara Tours.Show moreTrip date: August 2025
- CCamilla· September 4th, 2025After extensive research on the various operators conducting safaris, we decided to embark on our safari with Zara Tours. We had Joseph as our guide, and he stood out with his enthusiasm for wildlife, his keen ability to spot animals from afar, and his exceptional talent for predicting their behavior. His patience, respect, and constant care made us feel safe and fully engaged in the experience. Joseph transformed our safari into an unforgettable adventure.Show moreTrip date: August 2025
- JEJose· September 2nd, 2025The recently concluded safari was an unforgettable experience. Our driver and tour guide, Manu, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, patient, and a great conversationalist. Every one of our questions was answered thoroughly. He made our time in the safari vehicle both enjoyable and educational. We were pleased with the choice of accommodations that Zayina proposed for the tour. They were excellent, with some located right inside the national parks. We enjoyed the adventurous feeling of sleeping under canvas in the bush, accompanied by exceptionally good service. I hope we can return for another visit soon.Show moreTrip date: August 2025
- MRMorten· August 28th, 2025Shaban, our guide, was fantastic, and he did a phenomenal job guiding us through the four parks that we visited. We saw many different animals, including the Big Five and the Ugly Five. We also went on a hot air balloon ride, which was so cool. We witnessed the Great Migration in northern Serengeti as the animals made the precarious river crossing, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The accommodations organized were awesome and lived up to our expectations of fun and glamping in the luxury tented camps. I highly recommend Zara Tours.Show moreTrip date: August 2025
- BSBruce· August 27th, 2025We had an exceptionally remarkable safari trip to Tanzania. We toured four parks, all of which were stunning and had a diverse array of wildlife roaming in their natural habitats. We were also fortunate to participate in the lives of a hunter-gatherer community, the Hadzabe Bushmen. Our tour guide, Bonni, was charming, reliable, and knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. We had the opportunity to experience the safari and gain deeper insights into the animals and locations we visited. We loved the accommodations that were arranged for us, as they provided enjoyable spots for relaxation. I am truly charmed and impressed by the entire Zara Team.Show moreTrip date: August 2025
- HHidegard· August 21st, 2025It was perfect communication with our trip designer Zayina, who is amazing, professional, and patient. Pickup upon our arrival was timely, and everything that followed was well planned and turned out perfectly. Our driver and guide Calisto is an exceptional guide and a nice person. His knowledge of the parks is unmatched, and he expertly led us through the game drives. They were filled with great wildlife encounters, and the changing landscapes were beautiful. The evenings were spent in excellent lodges, making it the trip of a lifetime.Show moreTrip date: August 2025
- VVanessa· August 20th, 2025We had an absolutely breathtaking safari trip that exceeded all our expectations. The parks, particularly Serengeti, were stunningly beautiful, and we were fortunate to be accompanied by guide Tarimo. We saw all of the big 5 and many more animals in their natural habitat. We also visited the Hazabe at Lake Eyasi and gained insight into their hunter-gatherer culture which has remained unchanged for thousands of years. Being our first time in Tanzania, we were very impressed with the tour—from the warm, friendly people to the best-preserved parks. We are definitely looking forward to our next trip with Zara Tours.Show moreTrip date: August 2025

Asked on August 21st, 20251. Why don't you have an operator review rating on the tour radar website (e.g., platinum, gold, silver, etc.)? 2. Do you have a TALA licensee? 3. Would you elaborate two days in Serengeti National Park in more details please? What are we doing for actual animal watching? For how long? Do we stay near Ndutu Plains while at the park? 4. I read that the Mantra national park has been flooded. Are you still keeping the park in the itinerary?
- Zara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures)Operator•Written August 2025
1. We are a registered and reputable tour operator with 40 years of experience in Tanzania, but we are not currently enrolled in TourRadar's operator rating system. But soon we will get any badge from TourRadar in progress. 2. Yes, we are fully licensed by the Tanzania Local Tour Operators (TALA). 3. You will enjoy two full days of game drives in Serengeti, starting early morning and continuing until late afternoon, maximizing time for wildlife viewing. Depending on the season, we may stay near Ndutu Plains for the best chance to witness the great migration and predator activity. 4. Lake Manyara National Park experienced seasonal flooding, but the park remains open and accessible. We adjust the itinerary if necessary to ensure the best possible experience.

Asked on August 7th, 2025Can i know please why it is called luxury are the rooms basic rooms or with this tours you get an upgrade? And also the masaii mara is not listed as extra but then at the end you need to add it as extra can i know what tours are not included please? Also we will be travelling me and my husband is it an option to do it alone or we need to join a group?
- Zara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures)Operator•Written August 2025
Thanks for your questions! The tour is called "luxury" because it includes upgraded accommodations, not basic rooms. For Maasai Mara, it's not always included some packages list it as an optional add-on. Like Balloon safari, Masaai boma, oldivai George etc. with an extra cost which is not included on the package. Yes, you and your husband can choose to do a private tour or join a group both options are available.

Traveler•Written August 2025But is it included in this tour please? As in the text is not listed as add on. Is the price the same if its a private tour? Also are the last accomodations the same as the first? Is it possible not to stay in the same hotels again at the end?
- Zara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures)Operator•Written August 2025
Hi, The €1,658 is the starting price per person for group tours. The price can go up depending on the travel dates, room type, and if you choose a private tour. Maasai Mara is not included on the tour . As for the accommodations the last is the same with the first accommodation
