- AMay· December 7th, 2023highlights of Vietnam were visiting Train Street in the old quarter of Hanoi; tasting chicken noodle soup with the locals in Hanoi; the homestay in the Mekong Delta - cruising the backwaters in wooden canoes was unexpectedly good; visiting a family for afternoon tea was very special. The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh which gave a completely different view of the American War, was well worth seeing. Highlights of Cambodia included the sunset cruise from Phnom Penh. The tours of the temples in both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap were intensive but utterly captivating. Explore!Operator•Written April 2024This 20 days tour consists of 3 parts and there can be different people joining at different parts. The whole trip is 20 days but some may book only Vietnam 14 days part or Cambodia 8 days part. For the moment we have 2 people booked for all 20 days and other 6 for 2 different parts. But in any case the group won't be more than 16 people.

There is an overnight not far from Halong Bay, our hotel is about 35 km from the Bay itself. As to the change of train for flight - potentially you can do this but we've designed this trip balancing sightseeing, travelling, experience etc and if you sign off the trip and arrange your own flight down you would be missing out on a key part of the group experience.
