What people love about Asia Tours in September
- Highlights of Israel and Jordan - 11 days
Tour was excellent. I am very happy. thanks
- Heritage of the Holyland and Jordan Tour - 11 Days
I think the tour should have imposed some measures to those who cough a lot during the trip, encourage people to wear masks. And also for those who travels from Israel crossing border to Jordan , please be reminded do not buy and bring in menorah to Jordan as this will cause you delay and will be confiscated by the authority and I have to pay US$5 for another bus driver to bring the menorah out of Jordan , I literally lost $50, I wish the travel agency or tour guide would have informed us. But overall , the tour guide and bus driver worked very well together and everyone had good time. Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and always trying his best to coordinate some unforeseen circumstances even have to deal with missing guest and picked him up in person. It’s a memorable trip for me for sure . I enjoyed the tour.
- Southeast Asia Discovery: Seasides and Street Food
I had the most incredible time on this tour and would recommend it to anyone. It helped that I had an amazing CEO Bopha, who was just fabulous with organising/information/knowledge/personality. He always started every day with a smile, and truly made the trip for our entire group. The tour is one of their yolo tours which is the more basic tour and targeted towards younger adults. Which was perfect for me, I am used to a very basic style of traveling and this felt like an upgrade! The accomodations were pleasant and nice, and we only stayed in two hostels, the rest were 3 star hotels. We had four overnight trains which again were all quite standard for trains in Asia, and pleasant with a bed to sleep on. The itinerary was action packed with something new each day. You have to be prepared for travel and bus days, as South East Asia is quite widespread. However our CEO made sure no day was a waste, if we were travelling we would always have stops along the way where we would be shown local ways of life. (E.g. locals making rice along the road, local food markets where we tried tarantula and crickets). And when we got to each destination we would make the most of it as possible. Optionals do cost and some of them can be a little bit expensive. However you simply have to budget for it! Prices do vary slightly to what G-Adventures quotes, however our CEO was full of good recommendations or optionals to organise for us. I found myself doing many optionals I hadn’t planned to do, as they all sounded too go to pass up. You have to make the most of it when travelling through Asia! G-Adventures has their planeterra project where they support and give back to the local communities where they visit. So we attended two G-Adventures planeterra sites which was great to see! Nice to know the company really cares for the areas it visits and gives back to the community. I also felt like our CEO helped us give back to the community in lots of additional ways and it felt very culturally immersive! We visited the locals and would give the children fruit or books, makes you appreciate what these communities go through and how it differs from western life. I had an amazing time on this tour and it was all thanks to my amazing CEO Bopha. Would truly recommend this company and tour to anyone wishing to cover lots of ground in South East Asia with 30 days.
