What people love about Asia Tours in September
- Southeast Asia Discovery: Seasides and Street Food
This trip was the best month ever. Everything was organised down to a tee, if we're to get abuse at 6am it was there waiting for us so it meant no hanging around. My CEO Sambo made my trip even better that what I was expecting. He was so knowledgeable about each country and each individual place we went to. His recommendations were always spot on. I couldn't fault him. The one thing I wasn't really prepared for was the money aspect, the way the tour is phrased on the website I thought a lot more of the activities were included but that wasn't the case majority were optional. If you want to make the most of the trip do as many as the optional activities as your budget allows as they are part of the experience. It may be my fault not paying close attention to the itinerary with regard to this but I feel its a bit misleading on the website. Just be prepare to spend almost 1000 pound if you do every activity and go out drinking the odd night. I've read many reviews about this trip and some say it wasn't great due to their CEO, so I think it makes a big difference in experience youre going to have over the month long trip. Luckily I had a a fantastic CEO, and I thoroughly enjoyed my trip.
- Highlights of Israel and Jordan - 11 days
Love the trip, a bit disappointed in the hotel in Tel Aviv.
- Heritage of the Holyland and Jordan Tour - 11 Days
Metropolitan Hotel in Tel Aviv allotted a very small and smelly room to us. Grand Court Hotel in Jerusalem was not upto the mark. It offered all members of the group rooms in the lowest floors only. More importantly, the room assigned to us was not properly maintained. There were problems with the sink in the toilet, TV, noisy AC, absence of hangers in the wardrobe etc. The staff were rude. Similarly, the Grand Palace Hotel in Amman was not in good shape. There were problems in the toilet, dirty linen in the bed etc. Only the Leonardo Plaza Hotel in Tiberias and the Nabatean Castle Hotel in Petra were excellent. The bus driver Abid in Israel was not reliable. He kept us waiting at various pick-up points. Our visit to Bethlehem got delayed by more than an hour, because of which we could not see the Church of Nativity properly. We would suggest that the Bethlehem part of the visit should take place early in the morning followed by visits to the Church of John the Baptiste and the Holocaust Museum. All the guides were very well informed and answered our questions except the guide at Bethlehem (Firdous). Overall, the visit was extremely well coordinated by CTO.
