- JWJames· May 30th, 2025Just returned from this tour. The experience was flawless. The driver pick-ups and delivery were on time at each stop. Most of the tour guides spoke decent English and each was eager to make the excursions comfortable for us. The overall program was what we expected. I feel that things were nicely organized between providing long day programs and more relaxing travel days that allowed us to get rest. The only recommendation would be that a couple of short nighty activities, i.e., a dinner cruise or cultural show be added to the itinerary. The tour of the Angkor temples was very impressive. Special commendations to Victor who handled the Halong Bay cruise trip, and the guides in Laos for service beyond the call of duty. They made us feel very valued. If you can stand the high heat and put up with short intermittent rain, I definitely recommend this tour.Show morePrestiGo Asia commented on this reviewDear James Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! - MBMukesh· April 4th, 2025Overall, it was a fantastic trip. Apart from one bad hotel experience in Ho Chih Ninh City, the rest of the trip was pretty much flawless. Dat and the team at PrestiGo Asia did a fantastic job to make this a memorable trip for us. In fact, they turned it into a private tour for us since there were 8 of us in our group and this provided us some with some flexibility in our schedules on the planned events although we didn't change any of the core trip as outlined. Furthermore, Dat was kind enough to treat us out to Dinner in Hanoi after having had a bad experience with the Hotel in Ho Chih Minh City. The tour and the guides were all individually very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable in their cities and surrounding areas and the transportation was very comfortable in all the cities we visited. I/we thoroughly recommend this unique experience and suggest using PrestiGo as your operator as they listen to your needs and go out of their way to make it a pleasurable experience.Show morePrestiGo Asia commented on this reviewDear Mukesh Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review! - FBFrank· April 3rd, 2025Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishVery good itinerary, everything was organized very well and on time, the tour guides were very friendly, helpful and competent everywhere, the hotel rooms all had a very good, central location and were all at least very clean. We were particularly enthusiastic about Bangkok, Cambodia and Laos, whereas we were a little disappointed with the rooms and the very touristy mass program in Vietnam, despite the great landscapes. However, the hotel rooms and the ship in Vietnam can be discounted. Even if the rooms were clean, they are far from worth the 4 stars that are written on them, at least by European standards. Unfortunately, the Halong boat tour is also not a two-day cruise through the fabulous Halong Bay, but just a 90-minute trip with an overnight stay and exactly the same route back the next morning ????. But at least the food on the ship was very good.Show moreTrip date: March 2025
- SSheri· February 21st, 2025Having already traveled to 32 countries, Southeast Asia had been on our list for many years, and we were thrilled for this trip. We usually plan our trips independently, but this was our first time using an agency to organize everything. The itinerary was packed with activities we had specifically requested, along with recommendations from the agent. Most of the experiences were enjoyable, though there was one exception—the second day in Cambodia when we visited the floating village. While it was interesting to see how people live, I would recommend skipping this excursion. The water levels were low, resulting in a lot of visible trash, which made the experience less appealing. The majority of the hotels were in good condition, though there were some issues in certain locations. As soon as I notified the agency, they promptly reported the concerns to the hotels for resolution or offered to move us to a different hotel the following day. However, I would have appreciated better communication regarding travel options that could have minimized transition times between locations. Often, traveling between destinations required long bus rides—typically two to three hours each way—just to reach an activity and then return to the hotel. After speaking with other travelers, I learned that there were alternative point-to-point travel options that could have significantly reduced these long transfers. For those considering a cruise on Ha Long Bay, I highly recommend opting for the three-day, two-night itinerary instead of a shorter trip. Additionally, more communication with the agency regarding flight schedules would have been beneficial. Many of our flights arrived late at night—sometimes as late as 10 or 11 PM—only to have early morning tours scheduled between 7:30 and 8:30 AM. This often meant traveling during mealtimes, leaving us to either eat at the airport or have a late meal upon arrival at the hotel. Overall, communication with the agency was generally good, though there were occasional delays. It seemed that only one individual, David, handled all communication, and if he was unavailable, responses were delayed. Based on my preferences, I do not think I would use this agency again, but it may be a good fit for others. Pricing was reasonable—not the best considering the cost of things in Southeast Asia—but the convenience of having the itinerary planned and airport transfers arranged was a definite advantage.Show moreTrip date: February 2025

- BBenjamin· January 15th, 2025Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishOur 16 day Indochina tour from December 29, 2024 to January 13, 2025 provided by Prestigo Asia was a great success from start to finish. All pickups and drop offs at the airports as well as the flights themselves were perfectly arranged. All the local guides on site were knowledgeable and also very friendly. The excursions and transportation were perfectly arranged and completely in line with what was mentioned in the tour description. The hotels in the tour are based on overnight stays in 3 star hotels and that will probably certainly be adequate. However, we opted to upgrade to 4 star hotels. These were perfectly fine. In short, for those who want to see many of the hi-lights of South East Asia in a relatively short time, this tour is highly recommended. - JBJuergen· January 12th, 2025In short. Well done! It was an amazing journey through 4 countries in a bit more than 2 weeks. Prestigo, the agency behind the Indo China Tour, made a brilliant job, getting everything arranged to perfection. I felt perfectly safe, all transport was arranged perfectly, from the airport pick up to all flights arranged for the travel to the various countries. All activities were very well selected, high in quality and rich in content. I give this tour and the organizer 5 stars. - KKathy· November 11th, 2024This tour was fabulous! :-0 partly because the people in these countries are so kind and respectful, and partly because the tour was very well planned & organized with tour guides and drivers. I used another reviewer’s suggestion to eliminate one day (day 10 on Tom coc lake) and add an extra day in Luang Prabang, Laos. The tour program for the otherwise, only full day in Laos is overly ambitious and would be better spread out. We organized a Mandalao Elephant Sanctuary visit on our extra day in Laos and that was magnificent. We also eliminated Ho Chi Minh City because my spouse didn’t want so many flights. We were happy we did that, as fellow travelers commented that the war stuff was historic, but depressing. Dat is the contact both before & during the trip and he is nothing short of a miracle worker! He was able to accommodate every change we asked for, as well as a hiccup there.Show morePrestiGo Asia commented on this reviewDear Kathryn, First of all, Thank you very much for choosing our company during your fabulous holiday in Southeast Asia. - David· August 13th, 2024Just finished this amazing tour. We have been looked after and guided throughout our journey by Prestigo Asia. Communication has been excellent - with frequent updates before the trip, to a detailed itinerary delivered two weeks before travel, and finally to live WhatsApp chat during the trip. It could not have been smoother. At every destination we had someone waiting for us with a smile. The timings given were kept to and we were able to be adaptive throughout. Local guides answered all questions and gave recommendations for places to eat, drink, shop and even get a massage!!! The trip is packed full of activities, but you do get lots of down time to relax and explore the cities you are in. The trip itself was thrilling. Bangkok a great base, with loads to explore. All hotels were central and of a good quality. Siem Riep was rewarding, and our guide was able to add The killing fields as well. Ankor Wat was amazing (as well as the other temples). Vietnam was not what we expected - it was a fun, modern and lively place. Ha Long Bay and the cruise was a highlight. Spectacular. Laos is a very relaxed country , clean and tidy - full of faith and family devotion. We decided to stay on in Thailand for an additional week ant the end of the tour and Prestigo Asia helped us add this smoothly with transport. They were extremely accommodating. We feel culturally enriched and rewarded by this adventure and we highly recommend it.Show morePrestiGo Asia commented on this reviewDear David Lucas, First of all, Thank you very much for choosing our company during your fabulous holiday in Southeast Asia. - AGAnn· August 4th, 2024The itinerary was good but it could have been better. Too many days in Vietnam, with only one full day in Laos. The agenda for that one day is literally impossible in the time available. There really wasn't much to see at the Cu Chi tunnels since anyone over 100 lbs literally can't fit into them. The boat ride in Tam Coc was ok, but the cave at Haulong Bay was far more impressive. I'd cut Cu Chi and Tam Coc from the itinerary, and add an extra day in Siem Reap and another Luang Prabang. Each air transfer day had no activities scheduled. Given that these constituted 5 of the 16 days of the tour, it would have been nice to have some options other than "explore on your own." Given the amount of physical activity involved at every site, the designation as appropriate for ages 1 to 90 is inaccurate. Anyone with even minor mobility issues should think twice about doing this tour.Show morePrestiGo Asia commented on this reviewDear Ann Gaba, It's my pleasure to receive your feedback, it's very important to us.
