What people love about Asia Tours in February
- Japan Winter Classic 11 Day - One Life Adventures
As a first-time traveller to Japan, this was an incredible experience and one I highly recommended to other like-minded explorers. Over 11 days, our group travelled from Tokyo to Nagano, experiencing everything from temples and shrines, to an authentic kendo experience, and even viewing the snow monkeys! The itinerary was never bare, but it also allowed plenty of time to explore at your own pace. A winter trip and strategic planning ensured minimal crowds when visiting the major tourist hotspots (such as Fushimi Inari Taisha), and when we did encounter the crushing bustle of people (usually on the train!) it seemed like an addition to the experience rather than a constant nightmare. We definitely couldn’t have had the experience we did though if it wasn’t for our tour guide, Jordan. Always cool, calm, and collected, Jordan’s knowledge of the country and his impeccable organisation ensured that we were always where we needed to be, and that we were experiencing the best of Japan without worrying about if we were going to miss crucial transport or activities. When we did run into a road block (the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building was closed), Jordan smoothly pivoted and we had an equally awesome time at the Skytree instead. We also all appreciated Jordan’s food and activity recommendations during free time, and learned way more about the regions we were visiting than if we’d explored on our own. Overall, I had an amazing trip and I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone considering travelling to Japan (and while I can’t speak for all the members of the group, I’m sure they’d agree!). Thank you Jordan, and thank you One Life Adventures!
- Highlights of Israel and Jordan - 11 days
Very nice trip with good coverage of most important and interesting places. Our guide AB is very knowledgeable in history and culture. We really enjoyed this trip.
- Heritage of the Holyland and Jordan Tour - 11 Days
The trip was like two tours rolled into one (three tours for those carrying on to Egypt). The days in Israel were long: I would say that they averaged ten or eleven hours a day to fit in all of the sites we were taken to (one of the reasons I picked this particular tour was the sheer volume of sites). The guide was extremely knowledgeable on the subject. The coach driver deserves a special mention for getting us out of some tight spots and for going out of his way to save us a few metres walking wherever possible. The guide in Jordan had a great sense of humour and gave us free time at each of the locations, which was very much appreciated.

What are the weather conditions like in Southeast Asia during February?
Southeast Asia experiences some of its most favorable weather in February. In Vietnam the temperatures in Hanoi hover around 20°C with comfortable humidity levels while Ho Chi Minh City maintains warmer temperatures between 25-32°C. At tourist sites in Siem Reap temperatures range from 25-30°C. The coastal areas like Phuket's Kata Sea Breeze Resort see consistent temperatures of 28-32°C with very little rain making it excellent for beach activities.
What festivals or cultural events can I experience in Asia during February?
February stands out for its rich cultural celebrations across Asia. The streets of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City come alive during Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) with street performances and traditional decorations. Chinese New Year brings vibrant celebrations to places like the Little Nyonya Hotel area in Phuket where visitors can watch dragon dances and lantern displays. In Siem Reap the Angkor temple complex becomes a center for special Buddhist ceremonies.
What is the price range for Southeast Asia tours in February?
Tour packages in February cost between 1649 USD to 5588 USD with most 15-21 day tours averaging 2800 USD. This typically covers stays at places like Villa Chitdara in Luang Prabang and guided tours. Choosing luxury accommodations such as the Angkor Miracle Resort can add about 1210 USD per person to the total cost.
How crowded are tourist attractions in Asia during February?
Tourist sites see significant visitor numbers in February due to good weather and festival season. Major attractions like Angkor Wat and Bangkok's Grand Palace get particularly busy during Chinese New Year. Guests at Villa Chitdara Hotel in Luang Prabang suggest visiting popular sites early in the morning. What are the transportation options available in Asia during February?
The dry February weather allows for reliable transportation across all modes. Overnight trains connect major routes like Hanoi to Hoi An with regular service. The Mekong Delta cruise conditions are particularly good this time of year. Domestic flights between key cities such as Bangkok Hanoi and Siem Reap run frequently though seats fill quickly during this peak period.
How far in advance should I book my trip to Asia for February?
Reserve accommodations and flights at least 3-4 months before traveling in February. Popular choices like the Majestic Saigon and Paradise Sails Cruises reach capacity early. Airfare tends to spike as Chinese New Year approaches. Statistics show most travelers book their February trips 6 months ahead to secure better rates and ensure availability.
How does February rainfall affect travel plans in Southeast Asia?
