What people love about Luxury Tours in Italy
- The Best of Italy
Marisa was excellent. She made the trip carefree and took care of every detail. We got to see so much of Italy as every day due to her amazing planning. As example...Many mornings we were the only ones at famous sights as she planned so we could avoid all the crowds. It made our trip so much more enjoyable. Would def do Globus tour again. The driver was also amazing. We never had to worry about our luggage and the coach was super clean.
- Italy Experience (10 destinations)
Overall I thought the destinations, planned activities and accommodations were very good. But, because this was a “tour package” I felt there should have been assistance in booking the optional activities during the 10 days. This was completely missing as we were to prebook all the tours in the major centres. In addition, upon arrival, although we had paid and made arrangements to be taken from the airport to our meeting hotel we were left at the dock in Venice with no guide or instructions of how to find the hotel which was not an easy task. This was a poor start to the tour.
- Best of Italy (Classic, Summer)
Just returned from "The Best of Italy" vacation and I had a great time. I will definitely go on another Insight tour in the future. Our guide, however, was incredibly sarcastic when interacting with the guests and if he felt like he was being funny ... he wasn't. People spent as much time speaking about his actions as they did speaking about the wonderful sites we got to experience. Peter
