I went on the 4 day Amalfi Coast tour in early August 2013. The trip was absolutely wonderful 4 days of dreamy Italian sights, food and Fun! Irene was an amazing tour guide keeping a high level of energy, enthusiasm and passion for Italy going for the four days. The group was nice and intimate with 8 of us in total. Sunning ourselves on boat trips to Capri and Amalfi were my highlights including slurping on Lemoncello spiked granitas. Irene took us to amazing restaurants with good value set menu prices. You will not go hungry on this trip. Thanks again Irene definitely the best organised tour I have even been on!

This trip - Walking the Amalfi Coast - was amazing! Firstly, our tour guide Marco Marotta was fantastic - he was so knowledgeable and experienced that we were never left wondering. We went to places that we would never have seen on our own. Our accommodation was always central and in nice hotels. Marco brought the group together and we shared a few Proseccos along the way. We always ate at great recommended places and had lots of impromptu fun experiences (especially with the local people). Everyone had a great time and we now share wonderful memories and have made new friends. I would recommend this to anyone who asks!

If you are hoping to experience genuine Italian culture, Italy On A Budget Tours is the perfect choice! We loved the Let's Go South tour which consists of a few days in Rome before heading down to the Amalfi Coast and could not be happier with our trip. Accommodation and transport throughout exceeded expectations considering the cost - "budget" does not result in bad quality! The tours are a perfect balance of history and exploration, free time and group socialising. Our guides, Veronica and Mariana (both Italian locals) were knowledgable, fun, flexible and accomodating and really felt more part of the group - hanging out with us all even when nothing was scheduled which made the experience all the more special. What's the best way to get around the Amalfi Coast towns?
Getting around the Amalfi Coast can be a bit tricky with those winding mountain roads. You've got SITA buses running between towns pretty regularly but they do get packed especially in summer - like our travelers found out on the "Walking the Amalfi Coast" tour where that 40-minute ride from Amalfi to Bomerano was quite an adventure! Ferries are really nice if you want those amazing views especially going between Sorrento Amalfi and Positano though schedules change with the seasons. If you want things easier and don't mind spending more private drivers are your best bet - just ask David who loved having a private van on their Naples and Amalfi Coast tour.
Which hidden spots should I check out on the Amalfi Coast?
While everyone heads to Positano Amalfi and Ravello you might want to discover some quieter places like Atrani Praiano and Maiori. Atrani's this lovely little village right next to Amalfi where you can really feel that authentic Italian coastal life without the crowds. Praiano's got these incredible views and amazing food while Maiori gives you the coast's biggest beach with a more laid-back feel. Where can I find natural beauty away from the tourist spots?
The Amalfi Coast's got some incredible natural spots if you know where to look.
