Itinerary
- Day 1Sorrento to CapriYou'll arrive in Sorrento and get settled at your hotel (airport and train transfers can be arranged for an additional fee). This afternoon, you're taking a hydrofoil across to Capri for an evening tour. The boat trip around the island gives you a chance to see the famous grottoes up close, and then you'll have free time to walk around Capri town itself. There are designer shops if you're interested in browsing, or you can grab dinner at one of the local restaurants. If you just want something simple, a fresh caprese salad hits the spot. You'll head back to Sorrento later that evening. - Meals

- Day 2Pompeii and HerculaneumAfter breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a full day focused on Roman history. You're starting at Pompeii, where you'll walk through the preserved streets and see the villas with their rich decorations, temples, and the Forum. Later you'll break for lunch, and then it's on to Herculaneum. This former seaside town buried by Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD has some remarkable things to see, including boat houses, marble floors, and wall paintings that have survived all these centuries. - Meals

- Day 3Positano - Amalfi - RavelloAfter breakfast, you're doing a panoramic tour along the Amalfi Coast. You'll stop in Positano first, then spend about two hours in Amalfi itself exploring the town. Lunch happens in Pontone, a historic village that's actually one of the region's oldest settlements. In the afternoon, you'll head up to Ravello to visit Villa Rufolo, the house that inspired composer Richard Wagner. It's quite a day with multiple stops along the coast. - Meals
