This trip was amazing, I would recommend it to anyone! We didn't have the best weather possible, but then it was the middle of January, and the be honest the weather made it far more atmospheric. Ruthie was the best tour guide I've ever had, so much energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and stories, the trip wouldn't have been what it was without her. I still can't believe we saw so much in 3 days. From Edinburgh, up into the highlands via Killicrankie and Dunkeld, Inverness, Loch Ness, stay in Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye, drive across Skye to Portree, fairy glen, hairy coo's, then back down to Fort William (Ben Nevis had it's head in the clouds) Glencoe (amazing), across Rannoch Moor, almost got stranded due to a flooded road, the Wallace monument and finally back to Edinburgh! Highly recommended! I will be going again some day...
