Itinerary
- Day 1
Glasgow
You'll arrive in Glasgow and have time to explore the city before the welcome meeting at 6 pm. The afternoon is yours to check out the Victorian and art nouveau buildings, browse the art collections, or do some shopping in the designer stores. Once the meeting wraps up, you can walk along the River Clyde or head into Merchant City for dinner. It's a good chance to get oriented and meet your trip leader and the other travelers.

Glasgow to Fort William
This morning you'll catch the West Highland Line train from Glasgow to Fort William, traveling through some really nice Scottish scenery along the way. You'll arrive in the early afternoon and have time to walk around this outdoor hub. Later, there's an optional leader-led hike up Cow Hill in Glen Nevis if you're up for it and the weather cooperates, offering good views of the area. Otherwise you can check out local pubs or just relax after your train journey.

- Day 3
Fort William - Glenfinnan - Isle of Skye
The train journey continues to Mallaig with views of Ben Nevis and the Glenfinnan Viaduct from the Harry Potter films along the way. From Mallaig, you'll take a ferry to the Isle of Skye. After arriving, a private transfer takes you to a local whisky distillery for a tour and tasting. Once you're settled at your accommodation, the evening is free. There's also an option to have a dram with the group leader if you're interested.

- Day 4
Isle of Skye
Start with a short guided hike through scenic terrain where you might spot otters or seals. Then you'll join a guided private bus tour around the Trotternish Peninsula, seeing the Quiraing, the Old Man of Storr, and Kilt Rock with its waterfalls. The route includes stops along coastal roads and time at a local gallery or museum. If there's time, you can visit Dunvegan Castle on your own (entrance fees separate). You'll head back to your accommodation by late afternoon.

Isle of Skye to Inverness
You'll leave Skye by private bus and cross the Skye Bridge back to the mainland. The drive takes you through nice landscapes to Fort Augustus, where you can take a scenic boat cruise on Loch Ness. After that, continue north to Inverness, the Highland capital. You'll be staying here for two nights, so there's time to settle in once you arrive.

- Day 6
Inverness
Take a local bus to Culloden Battlefield just outside Inverness to see where the Jacobite rebellion ended in 1746. You'll walk through the historically important site and learn about what happened there. From there, head back to the city centre for a scenic walk along the River Ness. The trail is popular with locals and crosses a pedestrian suspension bridge with views of Inverness Castle. The rest of your day is free to explore on your own.

Inverness to Edinburgh
A morning train takes you from Inverness to Edinburgh, Scotland's capital. After checking in at your hotel, you'll join a guided walking tour of the city led by someone with unique local knowledge and perspectives. The walking tour covers the historic cobbled streets and striking architecture the city is known for. Once that's done, the rest of the day is yours to wander around, visit attractions, check out the bars, or browse the designer stores.

You're free to leave anytime after breakfast. Spend your final morning in Edinburgh however you like, whether that's exploring the winding streets, visiting historic sites you missed, checking out the shops, or just taking things easy before you head out.
