What people love about Sicily Tours from Palermo
- Sicilian Secrets - Mini Tour of Sicily 5 days
The guide was very knowledgeable and itinerary was good but very full, especially in Palermo/Monreale. Hotels were comfortable with an excellent choice at buffet breakfasts. Most evenings dinner was at nearby local restaurants serving typical Sicilian food. Especially enjoyed the company of friendly fellow travellers.
- Sicilian Secrets – Tour of Sicily & Aeolian Islands
Placido was a great guide, knowledgeable & well organised with much patience! The hotel in Catania was the least desirable of all of them but there were a couple of above average ones (Agrigento & Taormina). Food options & quality varied a bit also. Nothing was terrible but some were very average. The pace of the tour was quite fast but I’m glad we were able to see so much of Sicily - the architecture & history was amazing! For the cost ( I utilised the single supplement to have a room of my own) I think the tour was good value for money - there’s no way I could do that much any other way. It might be a good idea to alert people that they may pay up to €30 extra per person per day for admission costs. I didn’t think the extra was exorbitant but some people like to factor that into their costs.
- Sicilian Secrets - Tour of Sicily 10 days from Palermo
I felt it was good value for money. The group was larger than l thought it would be with 34 people with 3 different languages. The guides did a great job but it became a bit drawn out. The hotels were good and we certainly saw a great deal of Sicily
