The accommodations were clean and nice and the food was good. I had never been on a tour like this before and it was so nice not having to think about where and what to do. There were some days that were action packed but then they were balanced with a rest day the next one. We got to see a lot of the country without feeling like we were driving too much. The coach was nice and the guide, driver, and assistant were fantastic. Sameera, Ana, and Morgan were friendly, punctual, and accommodating our entire trip. Sri Lankans seem like a genuinely friendly and happy people and these guys were no different. They always greeted us with a smile and were so helpful. We always felt safe and Sam, our guide, did a great job of keeping us informed of what we were doing and what to bring for the excursion the whole time. He was so kind and always knew the answer to our questions whether about history, wildlife, etc. There were a few times plans didn’t work out or the weather changed suddenly and they stayed up or negotiated a change for us to ensure we were having the best time. The activities were very well planned, and he shared a lot of fascinating insights about the history of Sri Lanka. He also went out of his way to accommodate all the additional wishes we had, which made the trip even more special. The food could have offered a bit more variety, as it was quite similar almost every day, and the hotel rooms weren’t the cleanest. However, overall it was a fantastic journey. I learned a lot about Sri Lanka and its culture, and there wasn’t a single day that I regretted booking this trip. In the last week, closer to the beach, it became a bit monotonous. The accommodations were generally average, although the one near Sigiriya Rock stood out positively. That said, we have many wonderful guests in their 40s and 50s who join us and absolutely love the experience, so you'd be very welcome. About half of our travellers also come solo, so you'll be in great company right from the start. February and March are both beautiful times to explore Sri Lanka, so you'd be looking at a perfect time of year to visit.

So the average age of this tour group is currently 36, however, we do have another traveller on board that is 22 years old. This could change with more people booking on board between now and the tour commencing. So if you do wish to book 3/4 nights pre night with us, we would be more than happy to also pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel upon arrival.

Firstly can you let me know what the age group is for the All in one classic small group, 14 days. I am young 24 & would prefer to travel & connect with people my age. Secondly are the entrees included in this tour? If not how much on top of AUD 1991,- is it for that. How many people are usually in those groups and as a solo traveller can I share a room with someone my age / gender. How long does it take for a tour to 100% be confirmed before I book my ticket.

We usually see guests between the age of 21-35 join our tour, however, we do have an age requirement of 18-59. The average age can differ from tour to tour, but in 2024 we did see most groups around the average of 28 years old. All activities that are in the itinerary are included, there will be the option to add additional activities once you have arrived on tour, this can be done with the assistance of your tour guide. The maximum group size for our tours is 22, and for each night you will be paired with another solo traveller of the same gender.

We are currently preparing a group tour to Sri Lanka in Dec 2025 and Feb 2026, with a strong focus on wellness, cultural connection, and personal growth. We are seeking a trusted local provider to assist with a series of private group activities and tour for our stay in Sri Lanka. We are also possibly interested in an extension to Maldives if this is possible also. As part of our tours we focus on visiting and supporting local female activities of the areas. This would likely become a regular addition to our tours packages if this is successful. Could someone please contact me to advise if you would with tour curators and how we could arrange supporting the local providers but maintain reasonable costs. The tours would not only be up to 39 years however so we would like to open the age for a personalised tour.
