I had a great trip with Mango Vacations being a solo traveller. My driver and guide was Kasun, who was a safe driver and had good knowledge of Sri Lanka. Salitha was the tour leader and was advicing over the phone, who I met one time at the start. The itinerary was very flexible and you could choose to go to places or not go to places. The hotels were a decent standard, I would say probably 2 or 3 stars. Breakfast was provided with all the accommodation. For nightlife I would stick to Ella and Mirissa if going mid-week. Colombo is good on Fridays and Saturdays. Each evening I had nice meals with Kasun, the Sri Lankan curry bring my favourite, which I had to cover for both sometimes. Then we enjoyed drinks at the bars ar each location. Daytime we made several adhoc stops for snacks on the roadside which was nice. Kasun was good and with more experience will become better. It would be useful on the first day to sit down and plan what you want to do each day on the tour with the guide then it would be better I think. Overall a excellent tour and would recommend.

A 10 day tour visiting the major sights of Sri Lanka which is a beautiful country and so interesting. Capital Lanka tours were very helpful putting together our itinerary and being flexible on arrival date and answered all of our advance queries very promptly. The trip ran very smoothly and as there were just 2 of us we could flex the day to make the most of the sights. Our guide Buddhika was very friendly and helpful and gave us tips on how to make the most of our stay. We always felt safe with his driving despite some of the crazy Sri Lankan drivers! The hotels were generally small and lovely and in very special locations with sometimes wonderful views, often with a pool or on the beach. We loved our trip to Sri Lanka and would recommend everyone to visit and would recommend Capital Lanka Tours.
