- ABarbara Churchill· November 16th, 2022My daughter wanted to experience what it was like to live in Italy and we got just that, staying at a warm, comfortable farm house and dining regularly with our hosts and their extended family. We truly enjoyed learning to prepare several appetizers, entrees and desserts with the help of Lucca, a true master chef. And we were able to explore many of the wonderful towns in Tuscany, tasting wines, cheeses and house specialties. I couldn't have asked for ahing more!Show moreTrip date: November 2016Review collected by Caspin Journeys
- ALaura Johnson· November 16th, 2022My mother and I traveled to beautiful Tuscany, Italy in Nov. 2016 to celebrate my 40th birthday. I was looking for an opportunity to learn what it FEELS like to live in Italy, rather than just see the sights (which ARE wonderful and amazing!). We booked the cooking/food tour with Caspin Journeys and I could not have been more pleased with my experience. We began each day of our Tuscan adventure in the beautiful Nobile guest house relaxing with great coffee and delicate pastries from a local bakery. Each day we were guided by either Pino or Antonio & Simona to new towns to view the architecture, hear the stories of old, and learn about the treasured foods and wines. We stopped for Cappuccino (only before noon!) and expresso in the afternoon. We dined in wonderful restaurants filled with the local people, trying something new every time. We would have a small respite upon coming home to the Nobile guest house. When Luca (our Master Chef) arrived, we could either enjoy watching him at work or dive right in to learn how to prepare some of Tuscany?s finest foods. These evenings were so fun while cooking, feasting, drinking great wine, and enjoying the company of the Nobile family. For the week I spent in Italy, I felt well-guided, indulged, enlightened, and most importantly welcomed by this great Italian family ? it was a trip my mother and I will never forget!Show moreTrip date: December 2016Review collected by Caspin Journeys

- ASusan Mackania· November 16th, 2022Pino, Caroline and their entire family & staff made us feel like family. The itinerary was well planned and our experience while touring the Tuscan towns or preparing the menus each evening was exceptional! All recipes & preparations, were well planned, entertaining AND delicious! Accommodations were comfortable and private, and the setting was true Tuscan. Truly, more that I ever expected.Show moreTrip date: September 2017Review collected by Caspin Journeys
- AJanna and Gary Thomas· November 16th, 2022This was a first class experience conducted by two affable, intelligent, adventurous and fun people, Simona and Antonio. Simona is vivacious, creative and extremely competent, and Antonio is energetic and a virtual fountain of information concerning Italian history and culture. Lucca , the chef, was engaging and ready to teach. The people, the food, and the wine were all great! If we had the opportunity, we would definitely repeat this experience!Show moreTrip date: October 2019Review collected by Caspin Journeys

Asked on August 21st, 2025let me know when you schedule this trip. Hopefully you will have a tour in 2026!
- Caspin JourneysOperator•Written August 2025
Our calendar is already very full next year and I am not sure we will be able to schedule any new dates! We do have a Tuscany Walking tour happening from the 20-27 May 2026, with 4 spaces left. The hiking is not strenuous, 5-6 miles on average. The chef who does our cooking classes will also prepare 3 private dinners. We go wine tasting and eat in great restaurants, so it will be a culinary experience anyway.

Unfortunately our calendar next year is fully booked and we do not have any availability to run another cooking tour.

Asked on January 27th, 2025Is August 25 the only departure date for this tour this year?
- Caspin JourneysOperator•Written January 2025
Actually the Aug 18th date is no longer available. As you are a group of 6 we can look into sheduling a private trip for you for another date. When were you thinking of travelling? did yo have a specific date or month in mind? Our 2025 calendar is really quite full, but lets see if we can make somehting work. The first half of May for example could work for us.

Asked on January 16th, 2024My friend and I are interested in visiting Tuscany for a 5-7 day cooking and wine / cheese tour. We are both professional chefs in Canada and will be spending one week in Paris at Le Cordon Bleu taking their short courses, and would very much love to finish off our dream trip to Europe, in Italy. We have a very short window that fits into our schedules. Please let us know what you have that might work for us? We are very interested in trips that include accommodation, all meals, tours, cooking classes, inclusive in price.
- Caspin JourneysOperator•Written January 2024
Unfortunately we do not have any Tuscany trips scheduled for this March and usually require a minimum of 6 people to run a private tour. That said, we may be able to help you put together a custom itinerary. Would you be interested in slightly more independent travel arrangements as opposed to a fully guided tour?

Traveler•Written January 2024It seems that the dates that would best suit our travel time would actually be between February 27-March 7th. Please let us know what you have available during that time.
- Caspin JourneysOperator•Written January 2024
We do have availability at the Villa for those dates. Would it be helpful if I gave you a phone call so we can discuss options and hopefully help you make arrangements?
